The broccoli cashew salad was fresh and delicious. I was a little bummed that the Turkey was but fresh cut and appeared to have preservatives/lunch meat texture. The staff we encountered were friendly and it was a great visit overall.

Perfect stop for UPick berries. Loved that they still had blueberries late in the season (late Aug…read more/ early Sep) as most farms said they were done as of early August. The fresh raspberries were so tasty and fun to pick. The blackberries were minimal on my visit but those that I found were good and flavorful. Not sure of organic, but all berries were pesticide free and oh so tasty. They have roaming chickens in the fields and they were pretty friendly/annoying you as you pick :) Farmer Mike was super friendly and welcoming to his farm. Note that they have Isham Farms on both sides of the road. The berries are up the driveway by the Sugar Shack were they make maple syrup in March/April of each year.

The new maple syrup grading system had come into use, so it was so interesting to hear about it from a producer's perspective. If you love maple syrup - and who doesn't? - it's so amazing to see how it's produced. More recently, I placed a mail order via their web site for a half gallon present for some relatives on the west coast, and Mike Isham handled the transaction personally, got in touch via email to make sure they were delivering the right grade of syrup, etc., and it was such a pleasure to do business with the Ishams. The present arrived at precisely the right time.

Everyone there was so friendly and welcoming...including the adorable orchard pup! There were three variety of apples to pick/choose from and they explained the best use of each type (baking, snacking etc) They also have different types of products made from apples (vinegar etc) - fingers crossed apple butter can make it to the shelves soon :) Also - they had the BEST apple cider donuts we found in Vermont! I'm sad I didn't buy more of them!

The shop is well organized & fun to peruse. I asked several questions of the salesperson who was most helpful and pleasant. The most wonderful treat was the maple creamie! Made with the dark robust maple syrup I sought and mixed through an Italian gelato machine to produce the smoothest most flavorful treat. I believe this to be the highest standard for maple creamies in Vermont....for me anyway. Just outstanding.

It has a cafe on one side where they serve breakfast, sandwich, drinks and store on the other side. Large parkings are available on site. We went into the store first to check it out. It's a good size store and they offer lots of their original goods such as clothes, food, seasonings and of course their apple cider and donuts. They also have some local products from the area as well. They have good selection and we ended up buying some gifts and some maple syrups, seasonings and their sparkling apple ciders. We also got some stuff to eat like apple cider donut, apple cider slushy, hot apple cider, and the dreamee (apple cider donut sandwich with maple creemee). Everything was delicious. I think the highlight is their sparkling apple cider which are perfect gifts to bring back home as they have canned 4 packs ones available. Service was nice looks like they have bunch of younger local girls helping out at the place. The price was reasonable for the apple cider donut and drinks you get to eat at the place but gifts did come out to be quite expensive. Overall it's a great stop for gifts and some apple products if you are around stowe/waterbury area.
