My child is happier and that ultimately makes me happier as a parent. As it's a "co-op" these responsibilities and duties fall onto the parents, there is no paid staff besides the teacher, who gets paid minimally and works hard, to provide the children with the best possible preschool education at a affordable price. Its not her responsibility to take home and wash the laundry, clean the restrooms, provide snacks, find substitutes to work shifts when parents don't show up, etc.. Its a collaboration of all the parents working together, doing their " assigned" and required "jobs".

I'm glad to say that I have a different experience and hope that others will consider this co-op preschool. I think the biggest challenge with this school (as with any school) is that there is turnover. When the oldest class graduates and leaves for Kindergarten, there is a void that needs to be filled by the two younger classes/new families. This adjustment takes time but with strong leadership, bumps can be smoothed out rather quickly. My 4 year old son enjoys the program a lot. He loves going to school and the teacher is wonderful. The families are amazing and I think that is a big factor -- involved families will make the difference. You can't be a member of a co-op and do nothing -- it will hurt any type of success for the year. An active and cohesive Board makes a big difference too. My son has already enjoyed one field trip and is learning a lot. This class is really preparing him for Kindergarten and as a newly Stay At Home Mom, it's great being involved in his class. I know that two of the classes are full this year but I hope that other families will consider bringing their child here for preschool. There was a baby sitting on a table by herself, lights off, with no one in the room. 2) Went to the front. Employee answered with no mask on. 3) Told employee about the baby. She casually said "oh ya, they do that all the time". 4) Brought me my baby and said "BTW two other babies had their mouths on her bottle and sippy cup so you might want to sanitize them because she has a peanut allergy right?" My daughter has a lot of dietary issues and she didn't even know her allergies when I provided the list and communicated her needs multiple times. Even dismissing the allergies, another child had their mouth on a bottle with my breastmilk in it. Who knows how much they drank... The staff couldn't explain how it happened, especially when she was supposed to be fed separately due to her allergies. They had no details because they didn't work the morning. Terrible communication. 5) End of the day toddler sheet showed 3 hours between changings (policy is supposed to be 2) and didn't log her nap. Not a huge deal but still. Against my gut I brought her the next day hoping maybe it was an off day and that I would feel better. After 3 hours I was so anxious I went and picked her up. At pick up I asked how she did and they said "She didn't cry as much as yesterday." Wth?! My baby is SO social. She loves kids and never cries around them. Huge red flag. I politely emailed and told the director I would be withdrawing my daughter and asked for a refund since she was there for less than 2 days. She sent a nasty email back. We went back and forth a few emails, and once I told her I was going to report her to the DOH, she freaked out and sent the most unprofessional email where she actually admitted to not wearing masks, verified the child on the table, and blamed my one year old for the bottle because her "preference" is to throw them. She's one.... When I went to pick up the rest of her things later two staff members didn't have masks on (still had 2 kids in the room). Worst of all, the next night a dark purple/green bruise from a bite mark set in. My 1 year old was bitten ON HER CHEST and no one notified me. They probably didn't even know it happened because of the lack of supervision. Maybe this is why she was crying the whole first day...I attached a pic. Makes me sick to my stomach to think about how this happened, especially on this area. Whatever you do, do not enroll your child here. The teachers seem nice enough but this place is a disaster. She was mad that I looked through the window without permission. I've never heard of a facility that didn't have an open-door policy for checking on your baby, and we can't go inside because of Covid. I'm glad I did because that's how I saw the baby on the desk. No wonder they don't want anyone looking with all the chaos they have going on. I don't care about the money. I wouldn't have taken my child back there even if I had paid a year up front. It's been a week, my daughter is happy at a new center, and I STILL have major mom guilt for ever bringing her there. Seriously...run!

When I dropped my son off and picked them up, he barely got so much of a "hi" and "bye" from the staff. If your child is doing the Montessori program, don't expect to be clued in on what they're learning or what subjects they're working on. Toward the start of the school year, I had asked if they do weekly or monthly newsletters to keep parents in the loop, and what followed after was 1 or 2, and then it stopped again. None of the staff seems happy to be there, and we never really felt welcome. Maybe I'm comparing too harshly to his last preschool where the teachers were warm, the program was clear, and they went above and beyond for everything, but I've just disappointed by this place. I'm giving it a 3 star because it's not a bad daycare, my son had some fun days there and made some friends, but I want to let other parents know my thoughts before making their decision.

It was a nerve racking experience looking at different daycares, comparing and contrasting. The selling point for me was the courteous staff, the way they communicated with my children, and myself as a parent. The class sizes are not extremely large to where I feel as though my child would get lost in the crowd. The teachers keep parents well informed of activities, lesson plans, meals, etc. Knowing lesson plans and what was covered for the day allows me to come home and build upon the day's activities and accelerate their development. This summer they brought in a magician, made ice cream, and lots of other activities. And potty training... They made that a breeze. My children have bonded greatly with their teachers and talk about them constantly. I don't know if the Childtime staff will ever truly understand how greatful I am for what they do on a day to day basis. Thank you Childtime! You have been a blessing.

They are always super on top of diaper changes and feeding and naps, we get updates throughout the day and I never have to worry about my son while he's there. They are also great about doing lots of enriching activities with the kids, way more than I would be able to do or even think of myself, and they are really good about supervising the interactions between the kids so they get to experience positive social interactions with other babies. I believe the entire experience has been really good for my son's development and I'm incredibly happy with and grateful for the teachers, primarily Miss Emily and Miss Casey, although all the other teachers and helpers I've met have been awesome as well. It's definitely the most expensive childcare option in the area that I've seen but so far I've felt it's worth it, in large part thanks to the quality of teacher they are able to afford.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!…read more First, I want to say that the teachers in both the Preschool 1 and Toddlers 2 classrooms were incredibly kind. They were genuinely the only positive part of our experience at The Goddard School. Everything else was truly unacceptable. Before my children started, I had multiple conversations with the administration about my daughter's autism. I was transparent about her needs, discussed accommodations, and was repeatedly assured that she would be welcomed, supported, and that this was an inclusive environment equipped to work with children on the spectrum. Those promises were not kept. My daughter wasn't even given a full day before they decided to terminate her enrollment. She was not violent or aggressive--she was overstimulated and in a brand-new environment, and she needed support. Around 2:00 p.m., Fatima called me and asked to meet the following morning to create a support plan for my daughter. I immediately agreed because I believed we would be working together to help her succeed. Then, just two hours later, around 4:00 p.m., Kayla called and informed me that my daughter was being terminated instead. The complete reversal was shocking and deeply upsetting. As a parent of a child with disabilities, I cannot ignore how this situation felt. I believe the way my daughter was treated raises serious concerns, and I will be reporting what occurred. Another issue was the professionalism of the administration. During our tour, Fatima presented herself as warm, welcoming, and enthusiastic. Yet on our very first day, I observed her rolling her eyes while my children were simply excited and acting like children in a new environment. It was a completely different person than the one I met during enrollment. I also read Kayla's biography on the school's website, and unfortunately, the compassion and values described there were not reflected in how she treated my family. That evening, I sent an email seeking clarification about the decision to terminate my daughter and asking for an explanation of what had happened. I never received the courtesy of a response. When I returned to pick up my other two children, Fatima looked at me with a truly disgusting expression on her face instead of professionalism or empathy. I am sharing this experience so other families--especially those raising children with autism or other disabilities--can make informed decisions. If a school advertises itself as inclusive and capable of supporting children with special needs, those commitments should be genuine, not just part of the enrollment process. TI was being constantly called about behavior issues with my child hitting others but they could never tell me what triggered it. Most time he was reacting to being hit. My kiddo started to become agressive after attending this Kindercare and very anxious. My kiddo broke his arm during outdoor play time. They did not notice. I found out when they called me to tell me he hit a teacher. After they put my kid on the phone he tells me a teacher picked him up and his arm hurt. He hit him to try to get him to put him down. I took him to urgent care and found out it was broken. It had been broken for hours and they had no clue.
