We did pick out a peaches and pecans jam that ended up being awesome on freshly toasted sourdough though. We really wanted there to be more fresh vegetables, but it was slim pickings with just some scraps of not-so-great looking lettuce heads, carrots, and cucumbers. They did however have a nice deli in the far back with some interesting cheeses, as well as some options for pre-packaged and ready-to-eat meats/meals in the coolers adjacent to the deli case. The primary thing stocked here overall seems to be snack foods - of which, there is a good variety, but the shelves felt unnecessarily bare elsewhere and what was there was pretty generic. Service was OK, but from our experience getting cheese from the deli, it was evident that is not a typical request because it took awhile to square it all away. Overall, you'll be able to get some things to stock your pantry, but lowered expectations are necessary.

Times when you could leave your front door unlocked and windows open while the cool breeze came through your home. All the way up to my 1st child I would walk her there every morning in the stroller, and as she got old she found 100 dollar bill in the corner of the back door she returned it and the cashier Lisa let her keep it, every Halloween the cashier would go above and beyond dress up always was our 1st stop and she take photos with the kids and give candy out and when developed always gave parents a copy, as a single parent then ment the world to me. on to my 2nd child who loves to run threw bare foot, and will let the long hair Burnett hold her while cashing out customers, after both child births to multiple leg surgeries, ( employee there already were praying for me and idk how they found out, the old owner that won lotto Congrads to her I sure do miss her she always hold my youngest when got sick or if I just needed to take 5 min out side to just breath point is (family) this was what the store brought to our community, and the dog house restaurant did too next door always made best breakfast. Jim is a delightful fellow who picks and plunders and offers his finds at wonderful prices. He's a native son and entertains with stories of the area. He'll deliver your furniture purchases for a very reasonable amount locally and will also deliver to Greenville for a nominal fee. He's only open on Wed, Fri, and Sat and I have no idea what his hours are. It's a hit or miss proposition but it's fun to visit and hear Jim's tales!

The station itself was easy to access from the highway, with plenty of pumps and a clean, well-lit lot. Inside, the convenience store was tidy and well-kept, and Mrs. K. reported the ladies room was in good shape. Adding to the impression of cleanliness, a small robot was making its rounds on a cleaning patrol. For travelers watching their budget, this stop is a welcome surprise. My husband and I scheduled a vaccine appointment with this pharmacy and showed up at our designated…read moretime. We were treated to staff that were borderline rude and completely disinterested in serving us. The pharmacist on duty told us that he would have to mix one of the vaccines and did not feel "comfortable" doing so. Why would a qualified pharmacy be unable to do this? With no apology for wasting our time or failing to notify us not to come despite having our email, text, and landline number, he turned on his heel and gave us a sarcastic "sorry." We have been at this pharmacy for years and we amazed at how unprofessionally we were treated. While in the waiting area, we observed this same pharmacist be rude, unkind, and generally disrespectful to an elderly man who had a complaint about some mixup with his prescription. As a side note, the overall appearance of the store and pharmacy is old, tired, and not terribly clean. It looks more like second hand store than a pharmacy/drug store. We will not be back and plan to change all of our prescriptions to Harris Teeter's pharmacy, which is 5 minutes down the road. Their staff is knowledgeable, polite, and all wear lab coats. Even though they are operating out of a makeshift area due to Helene, everything is clean and efficient.
