I wrote a review of our phone conversation because it was the most bizarre interaction I have ever had with a service provider. Your requests were irrational, unrealistic, and irresponsible. ​You literally asked me to take photos of my two toilets. When I stated that I did not see how taking photos of the toilets would fix a main line clog, your response was even more unreasonable. You told me that you did not want photos of the toilets themselves; instead, you wanted me--a non-plumber--to remove the toilets and take photographs of the sewage pipes. At that point, I realized the conversation was going nowhere and ended the call. Only an unprofessional outfit would make such absurd requests of a potential customer. ​Following that call, you phoned my home several times, which concerned me enough that I took the necessary security measures. I have been a customer of Alfa Lock & Alarm since 2012, primarily…read moregetting keys made. The people working in the store have always been very pleasant and efficient in helping me. But a week ago, I really needed their help and expertise well beyond key making, and they came through big time. When I came home from Publix, the deadbolt lock on the front door would no longer open. I called Alfa Lock and spoke to Celeste, who said one of their lock specialists, Henry, would be coming to the rescue. Henry was a godsend for replacing the broken deadbolt mechanism, but what really impressed me most was his attention to detail and determination to make everything work "perfectly." In the 45 years we have lived here, the front door has never opened or locked as well as it does now. His work was so good that I asked him to look at a patio sliding glass door lock that had been problematic for years. He repaired that, too. We also had a broken garage door lock which he said he could fix - but needed to order a new lock and key cylinder. Henry came back a few days later and got the garage door working again. So I asked him if he could replace the locks on two accordion hurricane shutters, which he did of course. Four different lock repairs in a week's time, all done with expertise and reasonable rates. I'm happy to give Alfa Lock, Henry and Celeste their well-deserved props.
