Over the course of two years. I utilized the services of "Green Stuff" lawn care. Recently, I observed that my security cameras recorded the technician's arrival at my front street. The technician placed a stick in my yard to indicate that the lawn was being treated before departing. However, the cameras did not detect any indication that the technician stepped on my lawn or performed any lawn care services. I reported this incident to the company manager, Ryan, and requested that he review the camera history. Despite my request, he declined to follow up. Instead, he sent me a photograph titled "Breadcrumbs" that appeared to show that the technician had completed the job. I do not believe that my security cameras have provided inaccurate information. Nevertheless, I am concerned about the persistent presence of crabgrass in my lawn each year. Consecquently, I strongly advise against recommending "Green Stuff" for lawn Care services. Their lack of honesty and trustworthiness raise serious concerns. read more

This snow is getting really old, real fast. Each winter I have to remind myself why I still live here. Our regular snow removal guys truck was out of commission for the season. So we were scrambling to find someone to come out and clean up our area. After calling several places and getting absolutely nowhere; I stumbled across this place- thank to Google. Either calls weren't returned, emails not answered or they simply didn't want the business. Thankfully Green Stuff answered their phone, took down the info and called back within the hour. Ryan gave me a very reasonable quote and said someone would be out around 5 which he was. The guy who came out was almost done by the time I went outside. He was really nice and helpful and was able to answer all my questions. Pretty sure we will be going with this place. -Good customer service -Nice website -Most important, they return calls and stand true to their availability and professionalism. They got here in a pinch and took care of what we needed quickly. Let's hope the snow leaves for good so we can check out their landscaping services also! read more

I was quoted $41 for the last 14 years and referred multiple clients to them over time and today I got my invoice like I do after each application and they are now charging me $61 per application because they said they have undercharged me for the last 14 years for my size of lawn. I am also supposed to receive a $20 discount for each referral and he said " I cannot give you that anymore " so therefore I do not recommend this service as it seems like they don't care about the customer and the service they provide and apparently they feel it necessary to raise the price without notice. read more

Green Stuff has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We have been customers since 2015 we pre-pay for our services. Had to call 5 times to try and get them out for a service I had pre-signed up for and after 3 weeks of trying to get the service done, finally gave up and have cancelled all services. We have been using Green Stuff Outdoor Services since 2010 for our lawn fertilization and crab apple tree sprays. I found out about them through a mailer that I received that showed their $/per application cost was significantly lower than what I was paying to Granulawn, or True Green Chem Lawn, or Guaranteed TurfCare. THey also worked with me and I was able to specify the number of applications I wanted (the standard is 6, but I skip the late fall application to save a few dollars). Not only are they cheaper, but Iour lawn quality has really improved over what we were getting from the other services that we have tried. read more

I used them for two years without an issue. They sent me an offer for a spring discount last fall by agreeing to service the following season. I've contacted them 3 times (they confirmed I was on their list for service). I contacted them again informing that the dandelions are coming in crop size and what I got back was "we know those pesky things are blooming and hopefully we will be out in the next week" What??? Hopefully?? Now the dandelions are seeding and it's going to get worse. I sent them a note to cancel if they haven't serviced my home within 3 days. No response after two. My advice is to find another service that is responsive and shows up. read more

We have been a commercial customer for years and pay a set rate on a monthly basis. Out lawn is almost non-existent and out lot is small yet we pay almost $400 a month for service. It's been a slow winter so we have only seen them here a couple times however we just had rain which then froze into an ice rink on our lot. Didn't see Green Stuff show up so I gave them a call to see if they can salt/sand our lot however I was told that "we ran out of bulk salt so we can't do anything until next week". Looks like we are paying for a service we aren't getting. If they really cared they would spill a few buck and pick some up at the store so that they can satisfy their contracts; apparently customer service and retention isn't much of a concern. read more

They are lower priced because they only spray half of your yard. I called the guy out after I watched him spray like 1/3 of my back yard and he got angry and yelled at me, didn't finish the job, and left. And he flipped me off as he was driving away. I called to complain and they weren't even surprised or appalled in any way. They said they would send someone else out to re-spray. I told them I NEVER want Brandon back on my property and 2 days later they sent him back to my house to re-spray. He did it early in the morning so I missed him so who knows if he even sprayed my yard or just put the sign in my yard. Very frustrating to get this kind of service when you pay to have your entire yard treated and only get half of the job done. read more

Don't bother calling for help or questions, they will tell you they are great. I requested a call ahead prior to spraying which I never did receive. I called to talk about the service and request a special spraying and the person on the phone was arguing with me about everything. She told me they did do a phone call, but only after I stated four times it didn't come through did she admit they use an automated service that doesn't always work. Their product may be okay, but the customer service (the person on their phone) is horrible. I will not use them again. read more

Just got my lawn treated while it was raining so the chemicals aren't dry. As it supposed to rain for several days I'm really curious about who is going to come walk my dog since I can let her on the lawn while the chemicals are wet. We will not be using this service again. The first visit there was confusion if our yard was even treated. They said the neighbors yard was done by mistake and then later said they had done our yard. When I called concerned that no sign was placed in yard (and we had let our pets out) / they simplify said "well do they look sick". The final straw was when it happened again. I saw them treating, but again, no sign (or paperwork) . If I had not seen this, I would have let my pets out. If you are concerned about health of kids and pets, better to skip this company. read more

I do not recommend Green Stuff for snow removal. I hired them last year and had to shovel the driveway myself 5 times because they did not plow in time for me to get to work. Their contract says they will try to plow by 7am on work days, but there were multiple times when they didn't even make it by 7pm much less 7am. read more

Absolutely disappointed with this company. Not only did they scalp my beautiful green lawn down to dirt but they decided that blowing the grass clipping in my landscaping beds was acceptable as well. On top of that I had to call 3x with three different voicemail before "I" had to get a hold of them. They came back out 2 days later not to fix things but to leave a note saying to water my lawn. They did write they would come out and clean up the edging but never showed. They LACK any professionalism or consideration for their customers. I will be sending an email out to our association to warn them as well. Any landscape company should be able to out perform this one, even the 7th grader down the street who cuts lawns on the weekend. read more
