Today his crew - led by the very capable Ricardo, and his crew member Alejandro came out and trimmed my huge citrus trees into shape, to get them off my roof, and my neighbor's fencing. They also took care of a stray, dead branch from my Joshua tree, and a fallen arm from my massive totem cactus, as well. Not only that but they accommodated my busy schedule today by coming out at a more convenient time than originally planned. This was most helpful as I have a sick dog to deal with today. Having two large dogs, it was a waste having a yard as big as mine as it was made entirely of desert rock. The previous owner had it done this way for the purpose of keeping it cheap and keeping it low maintenance during the years he lived here. Over the last few years after I purchased it, I got 3 quotes from 3 different companies to do a section of turf. I never committed to a company to do it because I didn't feel confident they could deliver what I wanted. Fast forward to two weeks, I met with Sean from Turf Monsters. After hearing my vision for the yard, he was quick about getting me their quote on the same day. Not only that, but he had an extensive knowledge of the kinds of turf they had that would fit my yard best, the process of whole installation, how to maintain it, etc. It wasn't a hard choice; I chose them to do my turf project feeling confident they would handle the job well. And did they ever! At my request, they managed to get my installation scheduled earlier than originally planned. Materials were dropped off and installers showed up as scheduled on the day they began. Every single encounter during the installation was professional and friendly. It took less than the original two-day quote for the 25'x30' area, the three man installation team finishing in only one day. And it turned out better than I had imagined it to! The bright green turf looks stunning with the original rock landscape against it. And the dogs are beyond happy with it, running around and wrestling on it, but also relaxing on it too as it doesn't get super hot in the sun. I've received so many compliments on it from neighbors and friends that have seen it, saying it completely changed the entire backyard for the better. I highly recommend this team to execute your turf desires! A job well done!

We hired Turf Monsters for a very small backyard project -- just 9x17 feet. Because of their $3,000 minimum, we paid full price expecting the absolute best of the best, top-tier materials, and professional installation. We specifically told them we wanted everything done right with no shortcuts. Instead, they pieced together our tiny area with multiple visible seams (three or four pieces of turf patched together). It looks horrible and cheap. For an area this small, it could have easily been done with one single piece of turf, but they didn't even mention that option. We were never told upfront that seams would be an issue or that the grass would be patched like a quilt. That alone is deceptive. When we complained about the ugly seams, they came back to "fix" it and made it slightly less noticeable... but it still looks terrible. When I pushed for them to just replace it with one full piece as it should have been from the start, they said they'd only do it for an extra $500. What a total scam. We paid premium money for premium results and got the cheapest, laziest job possible. All Turf Monsters cares about is getting that big check -- they clearly don't care about doing the job right or standing behind their work. Save yourself the headache and money. Look for a company that's honest about what you're actually getting instead of this bait-and-switch nonsense. Terrible experience from start to finish. Never again.
