My reason for the deduction of the star is they just let the kids do whatever, my girlfriend had a kid run into her twice and we were just on the edge of the pool. I do like that the pool is quite big and the slide and splash pad look cool. but yeah, i'd either try to find a pool with an adult pool or at least one that enforces some sort of rules for the 10 year olds. Generally people here are very polite and courteous and a lot of families with small children come here. They do have a kiddie pool which is separate from the other pool area. My kids love to come here, it's become a tradition in our family. There is plenty of free parking and the pool backs to a farm which makes for a terrific view while you are relaxing by the pool. Pool gets really crowded even though it's a week day and the lifeguards are very apathetic. One kept a firm eye on her cellphone a lot and it took a while before 2 lifeguards were on duty. They didn't care about all the horseplay or kids jumping on top each other off the diving boards or the dangerous jumping they were doing. Didn't notice the kids who could barely breath while in the deep end or the boys harassing my girls. Just super annoying and not relaxing at all.

This public membership/fee park is a lovely and inexpensive way to relax while you let your kids loose. You are allowed to bring a cooler and picnic foods. I observed some adults tackfully bring their own special blend of "grown up juice"( I must reiterate, VERY TACKFULLY). This pool is very family centered and billgerant or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated here. Use common sense and you will love hanging out here. I enjoyed my afternoon here under the shade of an umbrella. Its well worth the admission. If you are an avid user of the pool, you may want to pay for a membership. You can cross the street and pay for seasonal acess at the rec center.

The pool and pool areas are clean. There is a basketball court, playground, shuffle board, & volleyball net. Grassy area to play baseball or throw frisbee. There are umbrellas and shady spots. There are three pools: baby pool, diving board area in deep end, and 3' to 5' pool with funky slides. Pizza place will deliver to the pool. You can take water aerobics classes at night.
