But what really stood out was their willingness to come back the next day to clean up debris that had fallen into our neighbor's yard as they weren't available to provide access to their yard on the day the work was completed. We were not happy with service. Chipped our driveway concrete with their truck and equipment. Left our clean driveway stained brown from the palm tree oils. Texted Owner and denied everything. So the gardener comes today and let's me know to call the people who cut my palms because they broke a sprinkler head and further investigation shows they broke a pipe. What a headache. The beginning of tree cleanup season when all garden services companies are slammed with calls this company made the time to come out to take out a stump and throw it and the trunk of a lemon bush away. Within 1/2 hour two men armed with shovel,pick and chainsaw worked as a safe, fast moving team to dig and remove the stump which had been planted in a bricked in terrace. I will use this company for future tree jobs and recommend them highly. They are true professionals! read more

I am not sure if they changed owners but the guy my mom talked to goes by Martin. During the free estimate appointment my mom asked to see a copy of their contract so she can read and review the terms and conditions and look up their credentials. Martin told her that she cannot get a copy of a contract until she has agreed to give them the job (which make no sense). She trusted Martin and decided to give him the job. Martin said he would bring the contract on a Wednesday and start the job the next day, Thursday. This would leave very little time for us to review the contract and ask questions about it. I decided to call Martin and told him that if he can bring the contract on Wednesday and wait for us to review it, then we would contact him and set a start date. He got very defensive and seemed fed up with us. He decided not do the job since he quote, "had lost his patience with us." All we were asking for was for him to give us a few days to review the contract and check his insurance and credentials since the job was going to cost $11,400. The fact that he was not willing to give us time to review the contract was a huge RED FLAG. Also, the card he gave us said "Sandoval's Tree Service" and the license number listed on the card does not exist. The other red flag is that he claims to have 15+ years of experience yet there is only one other review on google. Also, after he said he wasn't going to the the job any more, he finally sent my mom a picture of the contract, which is what we were asking for all this time. I am not sure why he sent it if he was not going to do the job anymore. On there, the business name is "Green Valley Tree Service" yet the card he initially gave us said "Sandoval's Tree Service" and the guy I talked to was Martin. read more

Green valley is the best there is. Mario the owner knows his stuff and truly professional. He's trimmed our two big oak trees every three years plus two big eucalyptus trees. Yesterday they took one big Redwood tree and chipped the stump out and and trimmed back smaller oak tree. Another awesome job by Green Valley. read more

I has about 15 trees removed ranging in size but most were large and matured. The guys showed up with their equipment, removed all the trees and grinder down the stumps.. they also cleaned up the areas where the trees were removed.. the equipment was well maintained.. the price was very reasonable, cheaper than a few other quotes I received.. I wasn't expecting such a professional service, but that is exactly what I got.. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use again for any future tree trimming or removal.. This was the 3rd time in 10 years that I've had Green Valley trim out the 5 large trees in my back yard. They use very modern equipment and their workers are well trained and do an excellent job. Watching the guys scale the tall trees to the very top, then lower themselves, dangling from harnesses while cutting the entire time is as entertaining as a circus act. The guys did a great job of cleaning up and hauling away the branches, twigs and leaves. The next time I need the trees trimmed, it will be Green Valley. I highly recommend then. read more

I saw this truck down the street from my house and decided to call. I was fully expecting to make an appointment for an estimate, but a few minutes after speaking with the gentleman on the phone, I had someone at my door. I got a reasonable estimate and hired the them. The man said that they would be at my house in a couple hours after finishing with their job down the street. I said that was fine because I had to go to the bank. I was gone about 30 minutes and when I got home they were finishing up with cutting down my tree. They were so fast! When they were done they did a great job cleaning up after themselves. They even blew the dust off my husband's truck. :). Fast, efficient and affordable. read more

Mario scheduled an appointment to evaluate my tree and he arrived on time and provided information on the health of my tree. We discussed options and he emailed me a proposal within a couple days. We scheduled an appointment for a hazard reduction prune and shape. My tree is a giant redwood not accessible by a boom truck.
