This place in many places can feel like an adventure into another world. Part greenhouse, part antique shop, part cat habitat (which I appreciate). Inside, you'll see some very attractive decor, and even room setups incorporating interesting plants that will set your design desire alight. Outside, the journey through the plant selection and greenhouse itself can often feel like wandering through a jungle. I definitely spotted some plants I have never seen before. That said, each time I was intrigued to learn and potentially but a plant, sticker shock made me put it right back down. Even for plants I know well and are pretty common and I could tell by their operation are easily propagated, I was dissuaded by the price from taking it home. So in general, prepare to be inspired, but also be prepared that you may not be able to buy everything you want here. Otherwise, this place is a very cool journey.

While I was standing outside my car talking to a friend, one of their workers came from behind the car next to mine and blew grass clippings directly into our faces, into my open car, and all over my dashboard, floor, door panels, clothes, shoes, and hair. We were yelling and waving our hands to get his attention, but he didn't stop right away. When he finally saw us, he just turned around and walked off -- no apology, no acknowledgment. I called the McDonald's right away and was given the landscaping company's contact info. I spoke to a woman who said she'd pass the message to a supervisor, but no one ever followed up. Totally unprofessional behavior and even worse customer service. If you care about courtesy and respect, I wouldn't recommend this company for any kind of work.

I have bought their mixed Garden Soil from them for the past 2 growing seasons and have been pleased with the product both times. If I had bought this much bagged top soil and bagged compost from a big box store I'd have spent at least twice as much and then I'd have to mix it myself. The Mulch Yard not only offers soil but also different types of gravel and of course, different types of mulches. The owners are friendly and are happy to answer any questions that you may have.

No wonder their business seems little off from years ago.
