The manager ( Dave? ) micromanages his employees to the point I don't understand why anyone still works there! There's a "second in command " lady w a mullet (idk her name) who is AWFULLLLL!! Not only does she price crusty old coffee cans at 4.99 and used burnt up spatulas at $2.99 she reprimands the staff on the floor in front of customers she's nasty and if she speaks to her staff like that in public I can't imagine what she says and how she speaks to them in private. The store is overpriced of course as most Goodwills Are becoming, but the store organization is the real issue...the shelves are so clustered and things are literally piled in huge messy "stacks " shoved into the shelves as much as anyone could possibly fit on a shelf is there- customers can't even pick up an item to look at the price or condition without 5 items falling into the floor...it's udderly ridiculous!! If things were priced at thrift store prices these items might sell and not just PILE UP like they do...the impossible shopping conditions and the management with the nasty attitudes makes me give this place 1 star

I normally don't like to wear used clothing and don't purchase any. I came to the conclusion that it's one thing to love the mission statement of this business ( all profits go to families struggling with childhood cancer ) and another thing to financially support it in some way! ( like making occasional purchases ). I do have an excellent washer and dryer and use Tide detergent.

Green Zone advertises that they create jobs by reselling donated items. Where's the recycling location for donations and where are the jobs created? They don't publicly advertise this. She and my daughter bought this thing last Christmas for my two oldest grandsons thinking that they might like it and that it was educational . In a very small way they initially found it interesting. That soon wore off. These two are rough and tumble boys with typical likes for their age groups: eight and five. Arriving at Goodwill we were promptly met by a guy who helped me unload it. Their dad and I had a real issue with them getting a complete expensive kitchen in the first place. Of course my wife and daughter told us that we need to get over being narrow minded! Anyway, everything went smoothly as expected. It always does at Goodwill. My hope is that someone's daughter will get a real deal on a nice Christmas gift.

It's not meant to be derogatory but as a compliment! The shoe section is huge! And I do mean huge! I went here today in the hopes of finding a really nice pair. To my dismay; I couldn't find what I was looking for. Back in the day it was very common to locate a pair or two or more of the Bostonian brand. Not any more! As a matter of fact I purchased a pair back in the late 1970's. It was my first introduction to Bostonian; and I loved them!I think they were 25.00 dollars at the time. Back then there was also a couple of department store's on Main Street in Gaffney. They sold Bostonian shoes for 100.00 a pair! That was a lot of money then!When Walmart came here; Main Street shutdown rapidly! No department stores or anything related survived. Guess what? Bargain Shoes survived; but they had to relocate away from Walmart! I was a bit disappointed in my trip here today as I didn't recognize any brand names in the shoes. They all seemed generic. I still would have bought a pair but nothing felt good on my feet! As you can see in my pictures Bargain Shoes stocks a little bit of every kind of clothing! I still suggest that this is a good place to shop for bargains!
