Selection was good, prices seemed fair, and I've bought from Greenberg Jewelers before (at a different location) and I intend to purchase from them again - but something bothered me at this location. This was my first visit to the Oralabor road GJ, and after the staff found out that I had bought my engagement ring at the Greenberg Jewelers in Des Moines, they told me they don't blame me for going to THIS store instead, since the other GJ didn't have "the right selection or personnel". I asked what they meant by the other GJ not having "the right personnel" and they told me the other store doesn't have good training. I don't like this. Don't tell me the other Greenberg stores are bad, I actually enjoyed my experience at the other GJ much more because the folks were actually friendly and helpful. If you want me to purchase the right ring, help me find the right ring. Don't tell me other stores are bad and try to upsell me. Just help me find the right ring and you get my business. Upon getting my engagement ring Nicole and Hayden helped me and my boyfriend out so much, they even stayed a while after close to make sure we got the price and everything right. I came in with a picture of what I wanted and they made sure that we created one that looked just like the picture! I appreciate their help so much and am so glad they were there to keep me company and make my engagement ring dreams come true! I visited this store for the first time this month and was very delighted with the vast selection and high quality jewelry. I was here as my good friend had won a gift certificate in an auction so we drove down from Minneapolis to see your store. Our sales person spent close to an hour with us while we carefully picked out our selections. The store was spotless, the employees were very professional and we can thank Lisa Grzywacz for the great customer service. Great service! My favorite necklace my husband got me for our 1 year anniversary's chain snapped and I wanted to get a replacement. Driving by here many times I came to check it out! I was in and out quickly with a perfect replacement chain, the sales representative measured my old chain to make sure he got me the same one, and made sure I knew that they had a warranty (which I purchased) that covered breakage within 5 years. The sticker price was a shock because of how much gold has gone up recently, but they were luckily having a sale and took a nice portion off making it much more affordable! Really happy with the service! The sales floor is beautiful and well light! and the location is really easy to find and get in and out of right off of Oralabor near Delaware. I bought my engagement ring here last year and it was nerve wracking. As soon as I entered the store and met the salespeople that anxiety went away. I know nothing about rings but I knew what I wanted to get my (now) wife. They worked with my budget and actually got a ring WELL within my budget. They even went to another store to pick up the ring. I've never had a more comfortable shopping experience in my life. We came back and got wedding bands. The staff here is amazing! read more

There is a definite culture of rudeness and poorly trained people putting in their time at this location. We were having a difficult time finding a setting that we liked and it was upsetting the staff with their obvious eye rolling and the short comments. A purchase was made and an additional lay away was paid for to hold what maybe could be made into a setting we might enjoy. We visited with another Jewelry Store who was happy to work with us... we were very impressed with her customer service and professionalism and ordered a designer setting and diamond. The time for the return at Greenberg's in Ankeny, IA was again rude and the credit that was the accurate amount was cancelled later that day because of their incompetent poorly trained staffer who took no responsibility passing it off as a "system" error. The final staffer to correct the prior incompetence again took no responsibility and had no intention other then to make short work of a paying customer. read more
