Great modern Apartments in the heart of Canby…read more Staff: The staff at the Dahlia are super friendly, ready to help you in anyway and answer any questions you may have. They remember your name and always greet you with a smile. Right when you open the main entrance door you will feel right at home. Apartment Grounds: The Dahlia offers their own parking (for an additional price) or if you wish street parking is simple and abundant. While not yet complete (12/20/2018) the court yard will be a great extension of your living. A dog run is in place and fully fenced. Secure bike storage (for an additional price) is very convenient. The work out room has WiFi and everything you would need. Interior features: Up to date, stylish, low energy and everything looks great and has a warm homey feel. Very well laid out. Neighborhood: You would be very hard pressed to find a better and safer neighborhood than Canby to call home. Folks here are friendly and always up for good polite conversation. Community Amenities: Canby Library, Wait Park, the movie theatre are all basically outside the front door. Canby Swim Center is less than a mile away. Molalla River State Park, a great and safe place for both you and your four legged friend is less than three miles away. Walking and bike riding in Canby is great, and with a Duo Purpose trail called the Canby Logging Trail road less than 2 miles away and 3.5 miles one way you have a great place to stay active outside. You will be able to walk to the grocery store, see a movie, get a coffee at Gwynn's coffee shop, and at the end of the day enjoy a drink and great food at the Backstop all while never having to get in your car. Who ever heard of valet garbage? We stayed here for several months while remodeling our home close by in Charbonneau and while convienient it is very run down. Just take a look around at the deferred mtce, broken light fixtures...etc. The owners are only interested in how much they can bill you. No one in the office when it is open can resolve any problem. When we moved in the unit was dirty and needed repair. We left it in better condition than we found it yet were charged for 'spiff cleaning' along with a bunch of other charges that yet again no one could explain. The units are old, beat-up and it is clear the owners only want what's in your wallet. Renter beware!!! Everything is an 'add-on' charge! Don't get us started on parking which is non-existant...

There are people who peep in your apartment on the ground floor. Amy Vogler, the manager, will not respond to your work order requests. If she does it takes months. She will tell you the rent is one price and then will post a different price on the local community page. I lived there for five years and for four years was happy. Then we got Amy. Several vacancies since her arrival. She is desperate to fill them.

These are the WORST apartments I have ever lived it. They are so incompetent. They are over priced…read moreas well. For a one bedroom apartment I was paying $800. It is a complete waste of money. They take forever to fix anything you put a request in for and they do a lousy job. It took me 3 months to get my refrigerator fixed when if wasn't cooling properly. They tried cleaning it and left my kitchen covered in dust and dirt from blowing out the coils. I lost $100's of dollars worth of food before they eventually realized I just needed a new fridge (like I had told them in the first place). I also requested that the seal on my front door be replaced 5 MONTHS ago because I could feel the wind coming through the seal and I could not keep my apartment warm through the winter. I had to pay double on my utility bills and it was never fixed even after I complained multiple times. I also got a dog for a companion animal for my severe anxiety and depression and they made me feel discriminated against for getting one. After all the problems I had I just started trying to go above the landlord to the company that actually owns the apartments to get things fixed and they even ignored me and told me to talk to the landlord. They completely blew me off. I lived there for almost two years and eventually just broke my lease. And they still charged me for it even though they have been so horrible they should have let me get out for free for all the trouble and extra money they caused me. And I'm sure they will try to charge me to replace the carpets even thought they were old when I moved in. All I have to say is choose a different apartment complex to live in. Redwood Terrace Apartments are HORRIBLE!
