As soon as you walk into this place you know that it is not top-notch and suspect it might be a place that hurts you instead of helps you. Not only the clientele but the doctors and staff as well are walking around like they just stepped out of a bad movie about a health center gone wrong. I've been waiting for 2 hours and 45 minutes and have yet to see a single doctor. I've been dismissed by every single person that I have spoken to. I have filled out the exact same paperwork three times for three different desks. I've hit a rough patch and my insurance is Medicaid now for the time being so my options are pretty limited. But I did not know that I had to scrape the bottom of the barrel and suffer through this type of treatment. Or lack thereof.. It's a rundown old facility kind of clean, not impressively so. Since I have yet to see a single professional on staff I cannot write a review about that. The waiting time alone and the treatment thus far does not instill any faith that I will be treated and acceptable fashion once I get in. Go anyplace else if you can. Don't go to this place. It is horrible!!!! Let me explain. I had to change my doctor & go to this clinic because of my insurance, which totally sucked, regardless, after having the same doctor for 8 years, I was not looking forward to this, but I thought I would go into this with an open mind. They have tried to railroad me ever since. Dr. Davis paid no attention to my cholesterol being close to 300 and my A1-C going between 6.3 & 7. Dr. Davis also tried to say I had a "problem" because I have to take an Anti-Inflammatory for arthritis!?! Can you imagine!!! it is an Anti-Inflammatory !!!! As prescribed by my Rheumatologist. As well as the STAFF - first of all the clinic put incorrect information in my medical file and on several times, I have requested to have it removed or changed/amended. I have gone to the director - MS. Watson too. This lady was a joke, she not only wouldn't help me but ALSO talked to me and insinuated I didn't see what I saw or didn't know what I was talking about. NO ONE WOULD CHANGE IT - I went there (2) times to the directors office. They have not done it to date and I have already contacted the New York State of Heath Depart on Holland Avenue in Albany as well as consulted an attorney. The staff is horrible. They treated me like I was on drugs, Maxine implied I was a "woman of the night" and Teresa is just a joke - Every time I have gone there, she is screaming "take her vitals!!!" as well as treating me like I have no brain. Needless to say, I have contacted their office in Mt. Vernon as well, an NO HELP THERE EITHER..... They need to shut this place down. Their treatment of patients is unacceptable and un-ethical. Said "nurses" are Unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. Literally have to wait months to even get an appointment, and then wait for hours to get seen. And if your a walk in or have an emergency, forget about it, just go to a hospital. Don't waste your time. They won't see you. They'll make you wait, and then never even provide you any service. The doctors there aren't any better either. "Dr" (if you can even call her that) lynch is worst of them all, completely ignores her patients concerns and needs. Will cut you off mid sentence and won't even let you finish. I came in to my 4:30 appointment for a routine check up, only 5/6 minutes late and she refused to see me cause she was "leaving soon"... they close @5pm. Plenty of time to just get my vitals and get my prescription. So please, explain to me how you were "leaving soon" if you still had other patients waiting on you to see them. I want to first start off by saying I didn't have the "pleasure" of attending this facility in person. I can only imagine how shoddy the front desk is. I called to set up and appointment with a specialist. Instead of taking my information, I was told I had to come in and register as a patient. Not online, not over the phone, in person. I asked if I could do that on the day of the appointment, and I was told no and immediately transferred to the registration office. It's 2013! In this day and age, I have to drive to an office and fill out forms and not be seen that day?? What is this, the DMV?? read more

Great people! Every one was very kind with me. Except Mss. Lynch. I think she need more patience with patients. She was very rude at me and she was insinuating that I was pretended to be sick so I can get Doctor's note. She need to work on how to comunícate properly and kindly as a professional like the position required. I don't recommend her for Latinos. The Nurse Practitioner Ms. Lynch is ridiculously rude and feels the need to always be right. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by a so called medical professional. I can only imagine how she treats people who don't advocate for themselves and are forced to be in her care because this is a health center. As a community advocate I am extremely disappointed that some of the families I work with are subjected to this care. This is the worst clinic i ever been to. Dr lynch is a lazy rude doctor who doesnt even leave her chair during your visit. I paid a 40 dollar co payment just for a follow up to be cleared for work the next day and she refused to write my letter because she thought i was lying. She then called my job to see if i was telling the truth about my job policy pertaining to doctor notes and what they had to say even after my manager told her what i needed to return she refused to do it and the clinic director judith refuse to refund my co payment even though i didnt get what i needed. Dr lynch should not be a doctor she treated me like a 5 year old and wouldnt let me get one word out... i hope this helps and she gets fired because she doesnt deserve to work there read more

My have used Greenburgh Health Center (GHC) for almost 2 years now and I've stayed because the staff are fantastic. I find the front-desk staff courteous and very helpful. The The pediatrics department has a nice play area for children which you can take your child to while being served. It also has a relatively large parking lot, so parking is not an issue. read more

Ms. Akhter is no longer here!!! What a shame. I can say with complete honesty that I am truly saddened. She was the only reason why I would venture to this disheveled location. This facility provides the most basic care... (1)Their data is always wrong resulting in patients not qualifying for coverage when in fact they do (2) they don't have the specialists needed to see patients which requires us to drive an hour to be seen (3) the executives are unresponsive to the concerns raised which means they are the real problem. The staff here are very rude! I came in one day for my appointment and they told me that there were no GYN doctors in today. They all were on vacation and the nurse practitioner called out!! My appointment was at 9:30am and I got a call about the doctors not being there around 10:07am. Don't you think I would be there already? What the hell?! All I needed was a prescription. There was no way that I could've rescheduled because I was going on vacation. I called them the next day and they told me that the office doesn't close until 8pm, so I could always just walk in and get it. I went in around 4:40pm as a walk-in to see if I could get my prescription, the lady told me that I couldn't because the GYN department is closed. Why would they tell me 8pm on the phone and then close at 5pm? They need to get their story straight. I rushed all the way from work to get my prescription and they couldn't do anything for me. All they needed to do was fax over a prescription to CVS and I could pick it up. It takes 2 minutes. I will not be returning here! read more

This Health Center was a lifesaver! My daughter needed an appointment before she went back to college and our family doctor couldn't see her for two weeks! We were able to schedule an appointment at the GHC for the next day! The facility was clean. The people were kind and the doctor put my daughter at ease.
