I was informed that in last few years, there has been a serious shortage of Rolex stainless steel sport watches. Of the five Rolex authorized dealers in Hawaii, Cheryl at the Baron & Leeds location in Maui stayed in contact with me over the last three and a half months about my request. She contacted me about a month ago and informed me that a stainless Submariner without date would be available but I was holding out for one with the date function. Much to my surprise, while I was on vacation in Belize, I received a text message from her notifying me that one had become available. I responded immediately that I wanted it and would be returning in a few days and could pick it up. She charged my credit card and a few days later I flew to Maui to pick up my brand new Rolex watch. At the store, she greeted me warmly and we celebrated my purchase over a glass of champagne. She fit the watch and explained it's functions and informed me about other watches and promotions that Baron & Leeds has. I hope she is able to acquire my other requests soon. Service - 2 stars, very aggressive sales techniques; not necessary resulting in a positive result. Owner seems friendly, until he starts "selling". Selling, not in an unfriendly way, but way too aggressive after we said we were not interested in another piece. See Lahaina Gems Yelp, where an aggressive salesperson can still make a customer leave feeling positive. Price - $15, we have no problem supporting and paying extra at local businesses; but not when all other locations sell the exact same item for only $4-$5... If I knew that, I would have suggested my wife NOT to buy it. She still may have though, LOL. Owner Comment - I suggest working on a better sales technique... Owner says this is a new location for him, so I almost feel bad writing this review. I believe suggestive selling works, but do not push or overly pressure customers because it can have the opposite intended effect. I think we also bought something from him last year...? Because I remember North as the best temperamental dog!

I stumbled upon this store after slowly looking around for an engagement ring idea and found a beautiful ring in their store. To me, my ring would be more important to me than any wedding. After the proposal, roughly 3-4 weeks later the rose gold band had snapped. Not even a month later and the ring needed to be fixed. Mind you, when we talked to these jewelers they had assured us they were simply moving locations in our town and would not be leaving. But they mislead us and in fact packed up and left town. When I called for a consultation I was not impressed by the immediate treatment. I was asked to ship my ring to their LA location where they would look at the band and we could discuss a fix. A few weeks later my ring was shipped back to me. Greenleaf Diamonds took the liberty of changing the design of my ring, adding larger diamonds that looked clunky and awkward. I called to let them know that I was sorry to tell them but my ring looked different and I just wanted them to set the original design but in white gold please. They e-mailed an overnight label which was great. In my mind, engagement shoot could still happen as scheduled. This time they had my ring for roughly 2-3 weeks. They obliged my request to ship it to me while I was traveling for work. Still. Wrong. Now I was really getting discouraged. Here I was, talking to THE jeweler (Andre). The man that literally does this for a living and I had to combine a photo of my original ring and my current situation to e-mail him because he could not even see the difference. Yikes. Now as you can imagine, I feel like a real piece of work having to tell these people yet again, hey this just isn't right. But the part that really upset us was when I was treated like an inconvenience and given unnecessary attitude. I did not change the style of my ring (twice now). Acquired a 3 day shipping label this time. They had it for a week. Zero contact. I paused any planning. I finally caved in knowing they weren't going to give me a call, great customer service Greenleaf. I got ahold of Andre and nicely asked if he had any idea of a possible ETA so that I could plan accordingly. His response? "I have 90 something rings in front of me I will get to yours when I can". Hey thanks for continuing to make me feel like the a** hole for something we PAID for that YOU consistently screwed up. I said I understand you are busy and please take your time (thinking please just get it right THIS time). While I was on the line with "the guy who does it all" I asked quickly, "is it possible to add the small beads to the bottom part of my band to keep the stone on top?" His response was asking me if that would be a good idea. Come on. You are the guy who boasted about making my ring but you cannot advise me on 1) if the beads are a good idea or 2) how to get my ring to fit properly as I am communicating that it is not staying on my finger correctly. I got my ring back, after another 4-5 weeks. I called asking, in one final attempt to salvage some sort of relationship with the grumpy jeweler I am now tied to. I mentioned that I had asked about the sizing beads and was never given a solution. At my wit's end I stated that I would like a local jeweler to look at my ring. Andre told me he would never warranty another jeweler to make changes to this ring. After a rude discussion he finally told me to take it to the gentleman in my area that sells guns. That he is a goldsmith. I live in Aspen, CO. I am surrounded by several jewelers whom I met with and considered working with. And Andre suggested I take my ring to a guy who sells guns. I give up. I implore you all to please go somewhere else. If I had been shown the real side of This business I would have never handed over our hard earned time and effort to be treated like an inconvenience. My wife Caroline and I stumbled upon this amazing jewelry store while vacationing in Hawaii. From the second we walked in and met Amy and Andre we were immediately comfortable in the relationship we were creating together. Absolutely zero pressure to purchase anything and was so accommodating as we jumped around item by item. In the end we selected the most amazing tanzanite and diamond bracelet. During the dialogue we discussed a few items back home needing repairs. A few weeks later we sent a Breitling watch with a missing crown, diamond pave ring needing sizing, gold delicate bracelet broken in 2 places and a broken Yurman necklace. Needless to say most other shops could not repair them or wanted to change us an incredible fee to repair. Andre fixed them all in under a week and insisted my wife have them for Thanksgiving to wear. I would trust them with any future purchase or repair. In my 32 years of buying high end jewelry I must say Greenleaf diamonds has the highest quality products, best experience and nicest people in the industry. Don't miss out. Make sure you visit them. From delivering a surprise anniversary present to a restaurant, to taking a custom order, there are no limits to what they will do to make you happy. His team took my custom phone order and exceeded my expectations ten-fold. Andre and his team can take a vision and create a beautiful piece of art. I sent him a rudimentary drawing of what I wanted and described it over the phone. He was able to work within my budget constraints and the piece that came out was even better than what I could have imagined. A superb product for not even stepping foot in his store. This place is incredible. We come to Maui every April with our 5 kids for Spring Break. The most fun we (well my wife and daughter anyway) have is shopping at Greenleaf with the store owner, Andre. We have made multiple purchases from Andre over two years and recommended Andre to my best friend who bought his 2.0 carat engagement diamond from Andre and Greenleaf. Looks it's pretty simple if you like fine stones, incredible quality and unbeatable prices.....Andre is your guy. I cannot tell you how often my wife receives compliments on just how beautiful it is. Unfortunately, the ring was damaged and several diamonds were lost. We contacted Greenleaf and they said just send us the ring (they even paid for the shipping and insurance) and repaired the ring. What they charged for the stones needed to replace those that were lost was more than reasonable, and there was no charge for anything else. The ring looks like new. The silver is excellent quality and the service is amazing. The selection is large and the price range is fitting if you looking to spend just a little or a little more. I'm usually waring one of their pendants when I go in which they offer to polish and shine for me while I'm looking through their current selection. I inevitably fall in love with something to purchase each visit.

They sized me for a steering silver toe ring and I've been wearing it ever since. It has never broken or fallen off. Well, 6 years later I planned a trip back to Maui and knew I wanted to go here again for another toe ring. I told my friend I knew exactly where the location was and once I found the spot I went right to the corner. Voila, they were still right there and ready to help! They have a chair you can sit in while they pick the best size for the toe. They also sell other jewelry, like pendants, etc, but I just wanted my toe ring. Now I have two toe rings and happy memories of wonderful customer service too! Thank you so much for the aloha vibes here and maybe I will come back for a third one one day! :)

During our recent visit to Maui, we discovered this charming store, which offers Hawaiian Heritage jewelry at affordable prices. The owner, Mirasol, is incredibly kind and helpful. I purchased three necklaces as gifts and a bangle bracelet for my son's girlfriend, but the bracelet turned out to be too large. Mirasol kindly exchanged it for a smaller size, which left a lasting impression on me. I was so pleased with her service that I ordered another bracelet for the girlfriend's birthday, and it arrived within just two days. I will continue to support this shop for its outstanding customer service, whether I am on the Mainland or in Hawaii. Thank you, Mirasol, for all your assistance!

We passed by this little shop when we were walking around Lahaina and we were so glad we did! The shop owners Mirasol and Alex were both so kind and patient. I've always wanted a Tahitian black pearl necklace but the price tag on them is quite steep. So I was so excited when I found this little shop with a good collection of Tahitian black pearls (including a beautiful floating style one with a perfectly round and lustrous black pearl) at very reasonable prices. Mirasol was very knowledgeable about pearls and she was so patient in letting me try on different styles. They also have a small and simple collection of pink and black coral jewelry in 14k gold settings (and the prices are much better than other big brand name stores on the same street). Alex has a remarkable collection of beautifully-made ukuleles, and you can hear him tune and play them sometimes! He also joked around with his wife Mirasol, and they put no pressure on their customers to purchase from their store, so we were super relaxed shopping there. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of jewelry and prices here. Marisol and Alex were both SO funny and so sweet. I always try to support local businesses, so I ended up buying a pearl necklace and a pair of coral earrings there! (They are also working on a website, so hopefully people outside of Maui can also shop online!)
