Took my ceramic watch to get the links repaired, he (the owner) fixed it in one go and double checked his work to make sure none of the other links were loose. He wouldn't let me pay for the new pin he installed. What a nice man! I had previously taken it to another repair spot, and they not only broke one of the ceramic links, but I had to go back twice because they didn't install the pins properly. So my watch fell right off my wrist within 30 mins of leaving the shop on the mainland. Grateful to have found this little gem here on island. I had my ring resized by them. When I got my ring back a few weeks later the stone was loose and the size was still too big. There was an engraving on the inside of the ring and they assured me that it would not be removed when resizing. well it was! I notified them immediately the stone was lose. they told me to come in they fixed it for a day then became lose again. When I went back exposing it was still lose they said they would need to add more prongs for it to fit right.... Spend more money after you messed up my ring. they didn't do anything. So I have a beautiful ring I can't wear because they didnt do anything to fix the lose stone that they caused. read more

We had called the shop before we went just to make sure they had what we needed and that it was opened. I was a bit surprised to see a doggy when I walked into the store, but the dog was friendly. The owner sized my finger and asked this older gentleman to put a temporary ring guard on my engagement ring. My ring was about 1.5 sizes too big and I wanted to wear it right away! They have a great array of local jewelry styles like plumeria pendants, lots of gold sea animals (turtles, etc.), but they also have lots of those specialized one-of-a-kind pieces that you won't find in Zales or Ben Bridge. Took good care of us on our engagement ring resizing! We looked for someone who would be able to do a resizing same day so my fiance could wear her engagement ring during our vacation instead of waiting to get back to the mainland. It was sized a bit too small which is a harder resizing than if its too large. The owners asked us to bring it in and said they would have it done in 2 hours. This review is two decades overdue. In 1998 while visiting Kihei, I came upon a small advertisement brochure. I was captivated by a 14kt gold sea turtle with small diamond eyes. Held in place by one flipper was a beautiful black Tahitian Pearl. What struck me about this particular turtle was that it had a bale on the back side of the piece so that the sea turtle appeared to be gliding through the water effortlessly. While beautiful, I knew that for every day wear I would want the piece made without the pearl. Topaz Jewelers was right across the street from our condo. Nancy greeted us warmly, and I made my request. Without hesitation she said "yes, of course we can make one for you.....what size pendant would you like?". Nancy asked David to join the conversation. David was able to commit to completing the piece before our vacation came to an end which he did! I wear my turtle 5 days out of 7 each week. It holds very special memories and meaning to me. Each time we return to Maui, I bring my turtle so that Topaz can clean it professionally. We were looking for a jeweler to adjust a watch I had just been given. We looked forever and just happened by their gallery. We weren't expecting them to be able to do it but they were able to.
