They did come out within a couple of days, were very friendly and we did like their designs, but they wanted double what we were wanting to spend, and I thought I was generous with my budget because I wanted a bubbling rock feature by the porch. So to check if I was out of line or the landscaper I went to Yelp and used their get a quote feature. One landscaper called me and said he would use pictures to get me a quote (this was spring 2020 so during Covid). I sent him pictures with details on what we were looking for. Never heard from him again. KALO reached out to me quickly, did an on-site visit in a few days, and had me a quote a few days later for half the price of the first place without any prior knowledge that I had gotten another quote. They wanted half down and would be out in 2 weeks to install. Not having worked with them before I took a chance and wrote them a check for half. They came back in two weeks exactly as promised and worked a day and a half with a full crew to get the yard done. The bubbling boulder was most of that work. I had pictured it in my head, but the final result far exceeded my expectations! It's beautiful. Felix and Rosa went above and beyond to make sure I loved every aspect. Checked in with me periodically throughout the day to see my thoughts and if I was liking where things were going. They also checked in a week later to see how things were, as well as 3 months later how the plants were doing. We hired H&H for our initial backyard landscaping project about 7 years ago. They installed a fire pit, unilock pavers, trees, bushes, lighting, etc. During the install of the project, we were bombarded with rain and they helped us immediately make adjustments to our project so the water would flow away from our house and down the proper channel. We had issues with a bad batch of pavers and Mark immediately came to our house and connected us with the paver company to get our pavers replaced quickly and efficiently. Their on-site project manager/foreman, Zach, is wonderful and amazing to work with!!! He makes sure you are satisfied with the final project, will make any changes needed, has great knowledge and insight on all things landscape and hardscape and will check-in with you on completed projects to make sure there are no issues or concerns. He is honest, trustworthy and my go-to person when it comes to my outside spaces!! Damon is also a great worker with H&H and has done a great job with our pavers and hardscape areas. He works with customers to make sure they are happy with the final product!
