This company wasn't my first thought. But with all the plumbers in the area not returning calls and…read moreblowing off appointments, I had to give in and have Roto Rooter give me a quote. They quickly answered my call and scheduled an appointment that was convenient for me. The plumber showed up on time after they made a courtesy call in the morning. He was professional and very knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed the issues. He fixed a toilet leak at the base of the floor but it pointed to a larger issue that the seller who sold us the house, failed to disclose. Long story short, there was a venting issue with my plumbing. Our front yard needed to be dug, a blockage needed removal and the whole drainage pipe needed to be examined. Roto Rooter navigated the permits very professionally and sent me a quote. I spent a lot but was given professional service and now my problem is solved. These guys did a very good job and I would have them back again.

Master Plumber Dan Sellazzo located the source (and explained the maze of pipes and water lines above my drop ceiling). It was a leaking toilet. In came his partner of 20 years, Ken Troise, who is probably the nicest guy you'll ever meet and who obviously loves what he does. Courteous, respectful and a plumber extraordinaire, Ken replaced a corroded flange and old piping, and left everything cleaner than it was before he came. He also took care of two smaller issues that have been driving me crazy. Took him 5 minutes. The service from Sellazzo is top notch and the rates reasonable. You won't regret giving them a call.

But He is a dishonest and unreliable plumber. I spoke to two other plumbers over the phone for 3 issues in one of my bathrooms. 1. low water pressure in faucet 2. leaking water around the P trap in the same sink and 3. constant dripping of water thru faucet. They recommended that I replace the faucet with a new one that would take care of everything.. Then I called Mr Wilson Taccuri and told my issues. He came home and fixed the first 2 issues and recommended replacing the faucet to fix the 3rd issues. I wanted to see what he suggest and what he does. Then, I had to buy a new faucet and call another plumber again to replace it. All issues could be fixed in one setting by changing the faucet and changing the valve as those were non-urgent. But he made me call plumber twice and increased the cost of my project.

The worst part was, I was told by one employee that it was something the credit card company charged, and told by the cashier that the credit card company imposed no such charge. I was lied to. To add insult to injury, I later checked a local hardware store that carried the same exact part for $12. This store is very overpriced and run by disgruntled and surly people. Avoid.

My neighbors had a gas leak and hired Indusi to repair and manage the project. My gas was shut off…read morein the process and I was without gas for 23 days. I received a lot of mixed messages from ConEd, not the fault of Indusi. My gas being turned on was dependent on the progress Indusi was making. The team at Indusi provided very little information to me about their timeline and, around day 7, showed up at my door telling me I had to pay them if I wanted my gas turned back on. They refused to give me an estimate, refused to answer any questions I asked, got immediately angry that I wouldn't just agree and comply with their demand, and spoke down to me. We made a plan of action with Indusi and ConEd, however at the last minute, Indusi claimed they "ran out of time" to turn my gas on since the neighbor's project took longer than expected. The amount of time this took the plumber I hired was 45 minutes. This left me in the situation of having to hire another plumber (McStay, who I highly recommend), which delayed the process with ConEd and cost more money than it would have cost with Indusi since they had to acquire separate permits. ConEd would have permitted Indusi to use the one permit they had already acquired as part of their work on the neighbor's house. Each time I called and spoke with the women at Indusi who answered the phones, she was nasty and rude. I actually stopped her mid-conversation once and explained the concept of compassion to her and asked her to please try to have some.
