These guys are EXCELLENT!! Joe came out to do the estimate within a day or so of contacting him. His quote was very reasonable and he gave us lots of options but never tried to upsell. Once the work started his crew was extremely professional and clearly very experienced. They went above and beyond in my opinion and there were no hiccups along the way. I waited well over a year for them to finish my patio and ask i got was excuses why they couldn't do my job. They told me they couldn't get the materials which was a flat out lie. When i finally gave up on them and got my deposit back i found someone else who within a week got the materials and finished the job. I would never trust anything this company tells you. Don't waste your time with this "company". I have a retaining wall and drive way that needs to be taken down and rebuilt, costing over $10 thousand dollars. I sent them a quote request at the end of December and they finally felt willing to call me back Feb 8th! I was going to tell them off, like so many other companies who never call back or show up, but I wanted another quote. Joe and his team redid 70+ feet of my paver driveway leveled it, relayed the pavers and did my whole driveway with polymeric sand. It looks great. His crew also leveled our back yard and created a paver patio and fire pit. His guys came back, cut and fit the pavers on the patio after we installed a gazebo and it turned out great. Sooo - we've given Hubinger another chance and they've failed...again! In April 2011, my husband demo'ed a front brick walkway to prep for Joe and his team to come in, install a new walkway to the front stoop and a new paver area between our garage and back door. They came over, installed everything as planned, the work was done correctly, quickly and to our satisfaction. However, within the next couple days, we noticed that the front doorbell did not work and realized that the electric wire to it had been cut. We also noticed that the pavers against the house were starting to sink in slightly. We called Hubinger to explain the issue and never received a call back. We called for 3 months - they never showed up nor returned our calls. We finally had to hire an electrician to repair the doorbell. So, here we are, 7 years later (not 10, as he claims their 'paperwork' states...although I have pictures showing the demo work AND we have the bill from 7 years ago), we decided to reach out to them to get an estimate on fixing the sagging stoop (an ESTIMATE, not a freebie - although it would have been nice if they fixed this 7 years ago). That was in the spring of 2018, during Spring Break, when school was out for the week. No stop-by, no call back, no estimate. So, we reached back out to them over a month ago. Joe was supposed to come by to give an estimate...He never came by. I contacted him through private message on FB - he argued the time frame with me, claimed this was the first he was hearing this (although we spoke directly with him), argued that they were 'nowhere near the doorbell' (which is about 3 feet above the stoop and the wires run under the doorframe, where the stoop is), and stated that he 'must be doing something right since he's been in business for 30 years'... but I wonder how much REPEAT business he has since it seems that once the job is done, he's in the wind. I see a lot of reviews stating he never calls back, doesn't show up for any repairs, etc.... So, at this point, we have asked him not to step foot on our property again and we have hired someone who has shown up to fix his work. As for the estimate, there is no way in hell that it should take over 3 weeks to 'work up an estimate' for pulling out some pavers, resetting them and placing them back - maybe 10 minutes, tops. So, big red F in our book. What a shame.... read more

I hired Hubinger Landscaping to redo the front of my house, which was badly overgrown. They were also supposed to connect all of the leader downspouts to an underground pipe and out to the driveway. They price was fair and the work was done in a day, while I was at work. It looked nice and appeared to be well done. Here's the negative part. Several times over the next few months I was getting water in my basement. I thought it had to do with my roofing and bad gutters. I had both replaced and they found that Hubinger had just ran one of the downspouts into the ground, next to the foundation and did not connect it to a pipe at all. Several calls to Hubinger went unanswered. I spoke to a girl at his office who assured me that Joe would stand behind his work. Needless to say he didn't. My advise would be that if you do hire him make sure you are there to see what he is doing. I hope this helped someone out.
