We arrived 10-15 minutes early to fill out paperwork and disclosures and he was quickly on his way. His instructor was Mark who was very cordial and my husband had nothing but good things to say about him after his flight. I was able to watch flight checks and takeoff from a distance, then took our daughter to Runway Park to play during his flight and watch their landing. It was a fantastic experience that my husband said he will remember for life. By the time we finished our classroom training, we were ready to jet (pun intended). The plane we flew was a Cessna (the go-to of planes for training, law enforcement, leisure, etc). Upon inspection, completed safety checklist, and song selection to jam to for take-off (obviously) we were ready to do it! Taxiing and take-off with Dimitri was a breeze and the exhilaration as you push the throttle and pull back the control yoke to take-off is something everyone should do before they die. As we reached altitude, the only thing we could do was soak in the stunning views of downtown, the lakes, Paris Mountain, and what life has to offer from the front seat of the plane. Overall, the experience with Dimitri and Stratos is something that will go down in our books. Seriously, where else are you going to find an awesome instructor who will jam and dance to "Pump It" by Black Eyed Peas?

The location has a Hertz location indoors which if you talk with the Hertz at the main terminal, they can have your car brought over to you plane side. The fuel is reasonable in price and no charge for overnight with a purchase of 7 gallons or more. Whether flying in for an after lunch or evening, they are always ready for us, with a smile, and in the air or in the rental car in 5 minutes or less. Wish more FBOs could run with similar hospitality. Not sure when they are moving over to Odyssey FBO yet, still remains in the air, or in the works.

Every time I've ever taxied up onto the ramp there is always someone to marshal me in and ask if there is any way they can assist me. They have a great pilot lounge and plenty of conveniences to accommodate you. As a professional pilot we spend most of our lives in FBO's like these waiting on passengers and researching our next flight from the ground, so whenever we are treated well and comfortable while waiting it is an added bonus.
