I stayed with them even after my extended car warranty expired because they always try to get your car fixed in the most efficient amount of time. Some mechanic shops seem to be very relaxed and slack as your 2 day car repair turns into just hanging out at the shop for 7 days. They car techs will call you back and give you a situational report on your vehicle and what repairs will need to be done, and at what cost. They are very busy and can not answer your phone calls all the time. Their company email is the best way to get your communications to the staff at the mechanic shop.

As well my trade in was devalued due to the Carfax report flagging a discrepancy in the odometer reading which Island Ford said was odometer rollback. After submitting a ticket to Carfax they investigated and found it was a data entry mistake. Island Ford refused to refund the difference in the trade in and actually stated that I lied about the Carfax. Stay clear of this dealership and especially the sales manager.

Worst customer service experience I have ever had at a mechanic. Brought my car in on a Thursday…read moreand I was told I would be called on a Friday when it was ready. By 2 pm on Friday they hadn't called so I called them to ask if it would be done by 5; otherwise, I explained, I would have to make other arrangements. I was told the manager was in a meeting and that the manager said he would call me back in 30 minutes - 90 minutes later still no call. I called again and explained a second time I needed to know if I would have a vehicle by 5 or if I should make other arrangements. I was told the manager would call me back in 10 minutes. One hour later no call. By this point I have made alternate arrangements, however, I called to express my displeasure. The employee on the phone seemed apathetic to the fact I felt like my business didn't matter to them. The manager finally gets on the phone and tells me the car isn't worth fixing (I was gifted the car for free so I would have gladly paid the $2500 they said it needed). He tells me that he was never given any messages that I called (one of the two of them was obviously lying). Then he blamed the employee and the fact they are understaffed. I had no problem with the technical service and paid the $50 safety inspection they did, but will never recommend them or go back based on the level of customer service I was given. It was very evident to me that my business was of little importance to them so I will take my $2500 elsewhere.
