Every other stall says pick up. Not sure if the stall next to it need to be empty, so whatever you're picking up can be loaded. The mall is all exterior. There's a parking garage hidden behind PF Chang's restaurant. It's more festive during the holidays. I think I'll be back to visit some fancy stores when the weather gets cooler.

My dad also lived in Houston and we'd often do shopping or eating at the mall. My daughter (who is now 30) loved (& still does) skating at the ice rink during the holidays. It's a magically fun experience. The Galleria is always incredibly decorated for the holidays. I still get to Houston 1-2 times a year and always enjoy visiting The Galleria. The Galleria itself has not only the ice rink but office space, two hotels, lots of places to eat, and shopping. The retail offerings range from shops like H&M, Macy's, and Nordstrom to high-end luxury shops like Gucci & Chanel. We were there just a few months ago and it was just as fun and exciting as my first visit! Gang, there are so many stores here. Like crazy amounts (a few hundred). It's very large and easy to navigate and of course gets extremely busy during peak times. A must-visit for locals and tourists alike.

The moment you step inside, you experience bright lights, multiple levels of stores, and a steady stream of shoppers that create an energetic, bustling atmosphere. Beyond shopping, the mall offers entertainment options such as its iconic indoor ice-skating rink, making it easy to spend an entire day there. One of the Galleria's biggest strengths is its variety. Luxury retailers like Chanel and Louis Vuitton share space with more accessible brands such as Banana Republic and American Eagle, offering something for nearly every budget and style. Whether you're on a focused shopping mission or simply window-shopping, there's plenty to explore...even if, in our case, we left empty-handed. The dining options are equally diverse, ranging from food-court favorites to sit-down restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory and Shake Shack to Chic-fil-a. While we didn't find the bargains we were hoping for, our fast-and-furious shopping adventure was filled with laughter and great conversation, and the kind of fun that comes from spending time with good friends. But Houston, we need to talk about bathrooms. First, the good. Rice Village is a really cool shopping area. There's a great mix of stores, restaurants, coffee, and other places, and you can easily spend a few hours walking around. It's busy, lively, and definitely worth visiting. Parking, however, is congested and annoying. There are paid lots around the area, but when it's busy, be prepared to hunt for a spot and then walk. Honestly, that part doesn't bother me that much. It's a popular shopping district. I get it. What I don't get is the almost complete lack of accessible public bathrooms. You have an area filled with stores that would happily let you spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars, but apparently asking for somewhere to pee is a bridge too far. Maybe businesses are worried about people coming in just to use their bathrooms. I understand there are legitimate issues businesses have to deal with. But there has to be some middle ground where the person buying expensive pants can also pee when nature calls. Pro tip: Starbucks has a bathroom. Of course, it was locked, there was a line, and you needed a code. At that point, finding a bathroom in Rice Village started feeling like a side quest. When you're standing in a shopping district with a parking lot full of $100,000-plus vehicles, surrounded by high-end stores and restaurants, and everyone is apparently on a scavenger hunt for a toilet, something has gone terribly wrong. Come on, Houston. Do better. Still loved Rice Village. Still recommend going. Great shopping, great food, and a fun place to spend an afternoon. Just use the bathroom before you get there.

The value is up there in price... we are talking the $$$-$$$$. Parking: paid street parking, free retail garage parking. Shops: most of the luxury name brands you can dream of, are stationed in this district so if you plan to treat yourself, this is the place to do it.

It's not huge, but it's big enough you could come and easily walk around for a few hours, and there's a big parking garage that you can park in for free for a couple hours. This is the main mall in the area outside of the Galleria but we try to avoid it when we can and only come to try on certain items or to return online items.

You can enter from either Weslayan Street or Bissonnet Street, depends which direction you are coming from. I often take freeways, so I get here by Southwest Freeway and exit at Weslayan. The mall is divided by Weslayan Street. West side is Randall's Supermarket and other stores. Recently, I have been here on the east side of mall to shop at Michael's and Ross more than other places. Occasionally, I go to Wells Fargo Bank. During Covid, I went to Spec's for gift shopping. I noticed there are few restaurants that I would like to visit.

This is a massive Plaza that kind of takes up several different street corners around the same intersection and has tons of parking lot space, which is a good thing, and some decent chain restaurants and some good shopping options as well. There's pretty much something you'd want or anything you might need located at some part of this intersection, which is definitely a good thing. This place is kind of a One-Stop Shop, or collection of shops, if you like. Yes, it's super expensive, although there's a cheap Ross where we were harassed by employees, and then some other good stores and interesting stuff and food items that might be worth trying. And lots of hip cool people come here for Torchy's and such. Traffic can be a bit of a nightmare around here of course though. And I'm not Wes Lyin'.

When it's getting old going to Petsmart and Walmart and other marts, we come to here, as one of several plazas that we visit on a regular basis.
