Beautiful little old-school shopping mall on the edge of River Oaks that is just so enjoyable. The heart of Houston. Luvz.

Love the Barnes and Noble here, and the pet clinic, they've both been a huge help to me in the past.

I opted to get a firm "standard" support backing to pair with my "lovesoft" seating. In my personal opinion so far, I would sink in a little too much with full lovesoft cushioning throughout the entire couch (seat and backing). The customer support that I received from the exemplary Lovesac team members like has been truly exceptional. Anthony especially has exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Anthony was fully transparent in the communication process from start to finish, attentive and thorough. Anthony created a very enjoyable customer service experience with all of the attention to detail, explanations of the configurations for the couch and understanding my various questions and concerns along with changing some of the items throughout my purchase. This store has truly created a welcoming environment with great associates. Anthony has been a perfect example of what a great customer service experience is! Highly recommend considering placing Anthony into a high level management position, communication has been a huge help. When I called to get further assistance if Anthony was unavailable Coco too stepped up to help me, great job and amazing team! The value of the product aligns with the price, the texture of the material I ordered combed chenille is supple and soft. I would highly recommend this store for all friends and family along with future purchasing for myself.

Oh, The Galleria! My ex-husband is from Houston and I've…read morebeen to The Galleria many, many times. In fact, I started going long before I knew my husband. My dad also lived in Houston and we'd often do shopping or eating at the mall. My daughter (who is now 30) loved (& still does) skating at the ice rink during the holidays. It's a magically fun experience. The Galleria is always incredibly decorated for the holidays. I still get to Houston 1-2 times a year and always enjoy visiting The Galleria. The Galleria itself has not only the ice rink but office space, two hotels, lots of places to eat, and shopping. The retail offerings range from shops like H&M, Macy's, and Nordstrom to high-end luxury shops like Gucci & Chanel. We were there just a few months ago and it was just as fun and exciting as my first visit! Gang, there are so many stores here. Like crazy amounts (a few hundred). It's very large and easy to navigate and of course gets extremely busy during peak times. A must-visit for locals and tourists alike.

Shopping can be hit or miss, and on this particular day, it was definitely a miss. My friends and I…read moreare dedicated bargain shoppers, and despite our best efforts, the Houston Galleria wasn't giving up any deals. With only about an hour before leaving Houston, our shopping mission was more of a speed run than a leisurely browse. Even without scoring any purchases, the Houston Galleria remains an impressive destination. The moment you step inside, you experience bright lights, multiple levels of stores, and a steady stream of shoppers that create an energetic, bustling atmosphere. Beyond shopping, the mall offers entertainment options such as its iconic indoor ice-skating rink, making it easy to spend an entire day there. One of the Galleria's biggest strengths is its variety. Luxury retailers like Chanel and Louis Vuitton share space with more accessible brands such as Banana Republic and American Eagle, offering something for nearly every budget and style. Whether you're on a focused shopping mission or simply window-shopping, there's plenty to explore...even if, in our case, we left empty-handed. The dining options are equally diverse, ranging from food-court favorites to sit-down restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory and Shake Shack to Chic-fil-a. While we didn't find the bargains we were hoping for, our fast-and-furious shopping adventure was filled with laughter and great conversation, and the kind of fun that comes from spending time with good friends. Sometimes spending quality time with friends is the best find of all.

I really like Rice Village. Great shopping, great restaurants, plenty of places to wander around,…read moreand enough stores where you can apparently convince yourself that $80 workout shorts are a perfectly reasonable financial decision. But Houston, we need to talk about bathrooms. First, the good. Rice Village is a really cool shopping area. There's a great mix of stores, restaurants, coffee, and other places, and you can easily spend a few hours walking around. It's busy, lively, and definitely worth visiting. Parking, however, is congested and annoying. There are paid lots around the area, but when it's busy, be prepared to hunt for a spot and then walk. Honestly, that part doesn't bother me that much. It's a popular shopping district. I get it. What I don't get is the almost complete lack of accessible public bathrooms. You have an area filled with stores that would happily let you spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars, but apparently asking for somewhere to pee is a bridge too far. Maybe businesses are worried about people coming in just to use their bathrooms. I understand there are legitimate issues businesses have to deal with. But there has to be some middle ground where the person buying expensive pants can also pee when nature calls. Pro tip: Starbucks has a bathroom. Of course, it was locked, there was a line, and you needed a code. At that point, finding a bathroom in Rice Village started feeling like a side quest. When you're standing in a shopping district with a parking lot full of $100,000-plus vehicles, surrounded by high-end stores and restaurants, and everyone is apparently on a scavenger hunt for a toilet, something has gone terribly wrong. Come on, Houston. Do better. Still loved Rice Village. Still recommend going. Great shopping, great food, and a fun place to spend an afternoon. Just use the bathroom before you get there.

This place is at the corner of Shepherd and Nett, on the first floor. As expected of the area,…read morethere is no obvious parking for the business. You have to find some nearby street parking and walk over. I had a perm bracelet from another place that needed to be shortened. I sent an email inquiry to ask if they provide this service before going there (I've gone to another place where they refused to work on anything that wasn't purchased from them so I wanted to be sure before heading out of my way). The email reply confirmed that they do provide this and that it would be $15. I made an appointment online and selected what I needed done. The website showed that it would only be $10 for a single loop and that it required pre-payment. So I paid and headed to my appointment. When I arrived, I told them I was here to have my bracelet shortened and the lady working there told me it would cost $25. I explained that I made an appt and pre-paid it already. She replied that it was just the deposit, not the total cost of the service. It was not clear during the booking that it was a deposit only but fine (maybe it would have been obvious if I had selected something way more expensive and being charged $10 instead). This was fine since the deposit gets applied at the end anyway. I also explained that I have an email reply saying it would cost $15 so I don't know where the $25 came from. She hesitantly agreed that she would only charge me $15 instead. I paid for the $5 difference at the end of the appointment. The inconsistency in the pricing (with additional confusion on appt deposit) is frustrating. I like having a clear idea of what I'm paying without any surprises. The work itself was fine. She clipped off my bracelet, took the old loop off, clipped off the extra length and zapped a new loop on. I'm happy with the end result.
