It's a very fancy place to shop. I only been Highland Village few times because I don't like railroad tracks and waiting for train to go pass. Parking is a bit hassle. Every other stall says pick up. Not sure if the stall next to it need to be empty, so whatever you're picking up can be loaded. The mall is all exterior. There's a parking garage hidden behind PF Chang's restaurant. It's more festive during the holidays. I think I'll be back to visit some fancy stores when the weather gets cooler. read more

I've shopped here for years and have always had wonderful experiences. The dining options are wonderful, there are stores for every budget, and I always leave with a Sprinkles cupcake. I wish they had a pedestrian bridge to make it easier to cross to the other side, but that's the only suggestion I have for making this place better. It's a must to browse around Restoration Hardware, peruse Crate and Barrel, and grab a latte at Starbucks or lunch/dinner at one of the restaurants. There's ample parking in the garage, and there's plenty of walking space. read more

This is easily my favorite shopping center in Houston and rivals for my favorite shopping center ever! If it were more walkable, Highland Village would handily take first place. This shopping center feels like Vegas or LA in a way - it's one high-end store after another. That's not to say it's snooty at all; no, it's not! But I think it really caters to people of a certain style...Anthropologie, Restoration Hardware, Paper Source, Lululemon, Lucchese, etc. If you're into that classy but unique vibe, this is a one-stop shopping center for gifts, home, clothing, and food. I've never had issues parking, and I recommend moving your car rather than trying to cross the street - there just aren't many crosswalks, and it's not safe. Also, be sure to stop by Escalante's for some fantastic Mexican food and margaritas before you call it a day! read more

Nice shopping destination with a lot of great options. Just beware if you utilize the valet parking. They left my keys in someone else's car! After taking an uber home to get my other set, going back to get my car, and when I got home finally they called to let me know someone was nice enough to take my keys back to them! They did bring the keys to my house but a quick lunch break turned into a 3 hour ordeal and a waste of my afternoon. read more

I use to work for PF Changes ,the hard work the employees have to put out to make the customers happy, but behind the scene is no joke ,no brakes you have to work 7 hours until closing to brake ! That's a real joke ! But the manager wants the employees to be happy working for a slave driving company! Have at it!! I won't be eating there no time soon ..and they have flying cockroaches that fly on you in the prep area and the grill where the food is being prepared...You don't get a star for that reason. read more

I am in love with this place! Especially Restoration Hardware. I have made it my goal in 5-10 years to be able to buy my furniture from there. They have a way to view the entire area from the 3rd floor and it's awesome! I also just love the feel and vibe of it. It's not as busy as New York City street, but it's also not deserted. It's really nice. I love stores like Williams Sonoma and Pottery Barn, so I really like this area. I also really love Pinkberry. I used to work there, but I still love it. read more

Very nice shopping area! All the stores are nicely done and easily navigated! The parking here can be a pain but don't forget the Multi level parking garage and the shuttle that will take you around the area. Another fun place to go during the holidays as they really do it up right with the decorations. Great places to eat and Michael Kemper's Salon does beautiful hair. read more

The shops are good but you can go down the street the River Oaks District or the Galleria and not have to deal with a swarm of smokers. Every business seems to let their employees smoke in the front by the doors and its not only disgusting but its illegal. Houston city ordinance says smokers must be 25ft or more AWAY from an entrance or exit. ROD doesnt have this problem. You cant enjoy the shops because you end up smelling like a cheap bar. read more

I love this shopping center. There are a good variety of stores for any budget and any fashion conscious shopper. The restaurants are great as well (everything from PF Changs to fancy steakhouses). Definitely recommend checking out Sprinkles cupcake ATM which is behind the storefront and offers automated cupcakes 24/7. Best cupcakes I've ever eaten. This shopping center also has at least two wedding boutiques and at least half a dozen furniture/home decor places. There is an Apple store for the "techies" as well - truly something for everyone here. It is also close proximity to the galleria and plenty upscale Houston hotels. They decorate the entire shopping center for Christmas which is beautiful to walk through at night. Love, love, love this little shopping area! The Apple Store is the best one ever if you happen to be a Mac daddy or a Mac mama. Francesca's is such a cute little boutique for gifts, apparel, and jewelry for the twenty/thirty something. Of course there is Anthropology too where everything there is as pretty as a picture. For the home there is Z Gallery, Pottery Barn, and Restoration Hardware. The list goes on and on so avoid the annoying mall feel and pretentious attitude of The Galleria and shop here. You will have a positive shopping experience with sunshine, friendly people, and plenty of parking. read more

Great part of town where you can spend great Saturday afternoon, parking is very convenient, and there are a lot of great stores. Also its great to walk around when the weather is not as hot. also, they have a shuttle that could take you from the their parking to some of the stores. but not sure of their schedule. read more

Absolutely THE WORST SHOPPING CENTER EVER! Having worked in this center I'm so beyond glad I don't have to go back another day. Not only do they make the employees that work in the center park in a satellite parking lot across the train tracks under high voltage power lines, they also have contracts with tow companies to tow at a moments notice. You will get towed from the employee lot if your car doesn't have a sticker or even if you have car trouble and need to leave it there overnight. They will also tow from the customer lot if you are an employee, there's $200 you'll never get back...no warnings no citations. And don't even think about working overnight at one of the businesses, towed. Lastly on their tow agenda is contractors doing work at the businesses. Have you ever tried telling a plumber that he has to unload all his tools and then park 1-2 miles away....doesn't go down well. The employee lot goes from Westheimer to Richmand and the ONE shuttle is never there so you end up walking in the full heat of Houston. As if this isn't bad enough, the people who have to work on the other side of Westheimer get to cross 5 lanes of traffic with no crossing aid. The center will say they hire police to help cross but this is only on busy holiday weekends. There have also been multiple incidents where people got hit AT THE LIGHT down the street crossing and the center FOUGHT IT saying they weren't at fault and didn't need to do anything to make the center safer. There is so much more that can be said about the center and the current property manager but there wouldn't be enough space to leave a full review of this center. read more
