We started going to Greenwood Pediatrics 22 years ago when my oldest daughter was born. Since then, we have been going with our other two daughters as well, who are now 20 years old and 18 years old. My 18 year old setup a consultation appointment. She let the facility know that she may be a little late for her appointment because she needed to drop off her car for new tires. She was told that if it was an issue, they would call her an reschedule prior to the appointment. My daughter arrived to her appointment 5-7 minutes late. After 5-10 minutes they brought her back to the room to wait for the doctor. The person who brought her back told her that the doctor was running late. Approximately 20 minutes after my daughter was waiting in the room, the doctor showed up. The doctor told her that because my daughter was late, she could wait 40 more minutes or reschedule. My daughter could not wait, so she left. The doctor also stated that she had to push my daughter because she had a new patient she needed to attend to. Because of this, my daughter did not have her consultation and did not get her necessary medication refilled. I am extremely upset that after all these years as customers, my daughter was treated so poorly. read more

Refusing to give meds despite having sinus issues, coughing up green stuff, can't hear out of one ear and temperature for 2 weeks, tells me I can come back in two days on a holiday weekend if not better. Michelle Chapin is not a good Dr. Just a money grab or power trip to get us to pay for another Dr appointment. read more

Greenwood Pediatrics is an incredible place to take your little ones. It is a super clean facility, the nurses and providers are all very sweet, and they are so good about getting sick kiddos in ASAP to be seen- which is one of the most important things to me as a mama. My family sees Dr. Marc and PA - Emily. They are a great team and care so well for my littles ones. I can't speak highly enough of Emily, she goes out if her way to even call me after hours to check on my kiddos when they aren't doing well and have been seen in office. She always takes extra time in office to talk to my kids and ask how they are, and to answer all of our worry-wart parent questions. Best pediatrician office I've ever been to, we highly recommend. read more

The most surreal experience. Our child was taken into an exam room. The staff tried to separate our child but I followed. Once in the exam room, I immediately noticed a magazine had been left out in a prominent display (an edition of Glamour magazine) emblazoned with "SEX TOY AWARDS" on the cover. I distracted my child and hid the magazine. When I notified the staff, they didn't seem very concerned at all, as if this was just somehow normal, for pediatricians to separate young kids from their parents and show them advertisements for sex toys and how to use them. Is this even legal? I noticed that the practice has a 5 star review on google. But I can tell you that this review was shadow banned - so I wonder how many other 1 star reviews were shadow banned...? Just wondering, does google get a fee for shadow banning negative reviews? read more

We have been going here since my son was born, almost 8 years now. I can't say enough good things about Greenwood. They know who my kids are as soon as we come in and even ask about siblings that aren't there by name. I'll never take my kids elsewhere read more

Would not recommend for a new mom! Front desk is entirely rude. No greeting not a word until you say something to them. If you have questions about insurance you better be ready for attitude! Not helpful at all. Showed up for an appointment and was told they didn't have me in their schedule when I was holding the reminder card. As if getting out the door was easy by 8:30am with an infant to get here on time and they couldn't even squeeze me in!!! I was stared at blankly and finally someone else asked if I wanted to reschedule! I am not going back. Dr. Chapin is great but not worth the rude staff and feeling like I'm an unwelcomed guest. I want my child and family to feel welcome not like a hassle. read more

Went to this practice yesterday with my newborn daughter, the front office staff was so unfriendly!!! I will NOT be going back because of this!! The doctor was very nice and the nurse who drew my daughter's blood was nice, but upon entering the office for our first time, no "hello, good morning" or "Welcome" just "i need to get you checked in" and "you're late". I was 5 minutes late but I just felt the ladies up front were so rude and unhappy. There are so many other health care providers that will treat you nicely and I would rather go to an office that is happy to see me and my family. read more

I switched to this office from another that I wasn't impressed with. I LOVE it. So far things have been awesome, the doctors and nurses are very helpful and sweet. I have never felt stupid by asking a question. As a new mom, that's important. The office is immaculately clean every time I go in and the front desk people are always so friendly and happy to greet you. My son loves the place. On shot days, they are always super fast as well, my son didn't even cry last time! I also love that you can call and get in the same day! That's a first for me. They leave time to book out appts like that. They're great. read more

Dr. Michele is the doctor we use at Greenwood Pediatrics and she is phenomenal! If it's important that your doctor is highly effective and spend a reasonable amount of time with you, you may want to give her a try. The nurses are friendly to my boys and the office just had good energy. I have also seen Sonia the PA and she is fantastic as well. We have been at this practice for 6 years and I feel so lucky we stumbled upon it when we moved to Parker. read more

We recently moved to the area and started bringing our son here right away. I have found it easy to schedule appointments and the medical staff working with Dr. Avner have been nothing but professional. They give us the time we need and answer our questions. My wife is a physician herself and so we have pretty high expectations in this area. I am also pleased with the office staff. I have changed insurance several times and the office staff have always been available to help me straighten things out. read more

We love Greenwood Pediatrics. My soon to be three year old has been seeing Dr Marc and Emily since the day she was born when Dr Marc visited us at the hospital. I would never advise anybody to go to this doctors office for your children I have a now nine-month-old son who has had a horrible horrible cough since he's been about four months old they tell me that their stuff that I need to take and I've been taking every single step and my sons cough has not gotten any better in fact it gets worse and worse they never have a doctor for you to see they over book appointments The front desk staff are completely rude and have absolutely no knowledge of what's going on how do you go to the doctor over six times for a cough in an infant and they do nothing every single time! They do not care about the well being of their patients this is very alarming To my husband and I. So now today I am taking my son to children's hospital and if he has Pneumonia and they missed it all the times that I've gone in to figure out what is wrong with my son I will be suing the shit out of them for malpractice because they will take one glance at you and tell you oh it's OK it will pass obviously it's not passing if I keep going to the doctor over a four month span and you were supposed to tell me what to do to make my kid better because I'm not a doctor you are and don't do anything. This is the worst place to take your children if health and seeing an actual doctor is on your list skip this place you're better off going to a veterinarian you'd probably get more answers than this place will give you. read more

Great practice filled with doctors that care about each patient. They answer all of my questions and it never seems like they are rushed. I've always been brought back on time. The nurses are nice and really seem to care about the kids too. I've also been seen last minute for emergency sickness appointments. read more

I also feel compelled to let others know the problems we've had here. We wait 30-40 minutes for appointments. Our son is 11 and autistic. Dr Sunit might be better suited to kids without autism. She has little patience, and little understanding of his behaviors. Her "exam" wasn't very through as she also has really cold fingers and it was making him laugh, so she gave up. I didn't know 11-year-olds get shots, and had that been mentioned to me when I made the appointment, I could have prepared our son. But instead Dr Sunit announced it, and then things really went downhill. A PA pricked our son's finger to get blood for a cholesterol test (he's 11), and could not get enough blood out. She wanted to prick another finger and he sat there screaming and crying that she was hurting him. She was squeezing his fingers so hard they were purple. No,lady, no more of that. I told her she needed to hurry and get the shots and someone else to help us, and she was gone like 15 more minutes. it was entirely too late at that point to do any shots. He was so frightened he almost wet his pants. We've had much less trama in the ER than we had here. Dr. Sunit, looking at his records, also said "there's a lot of dead grandparents...and how many of your husband's siblings are deceased?" uh, none. I am not sure she had the right patient. Greenwood Ped was recommended to me by a friend, and she hasn't had any trouble, but we certainly won't be back. read more

We absolutely love Dr. Chapin. The office staff are completely rude and unfriendly. We recently went to the centennial location and ran into the same issue. Not sure who's training them. If it wasn't for Dr. Chapin we'd have left after the first visit. read more

Run, don't walk from this practice!!!. This practice is sub standard. My wife and daughter saw Dr. Avner...our oldest daughter had a temp of 103, while taking ibuprofen, a productive cough, and three members of her class had pneumonia. They were sent home with no therapeutic solution other than "time is our friend". Translation, he didn't have the courage or the skill set to accurately diagnose your illness. We returned, after a very long weekend, with a significantly worse presentation. This time I accompanied my daughter. I insisted on an antibiotic therapy. He finally submitted to a prescription of Zithromax and three days later she was back to health. This practice seems to only be interested in stringing patients along and milking the insurance process for all they can prior to adequate care. There are plenty of other practices in the south Denver metro area...pick any one of them at random and you will have better success than a visit to this one. read more

if you like calling for appointments for your sick child and they never have any available then this is the practice for you! they have way to many patients-just in it for the money i guess. they won't even schedule you with a Physicians assist or nurse if no appts are available. And if you kids doctor is not in on the day you call regarding you sick kid- you are out of luck. go elsewhere, the one in parker and off mineral are both awful! read more
