She is now 16 and she has had a relationship with YAA from the first time she attended a bithday party at 3 to this summer when she was a volunteer for summer camp, specialty camp. She has attended Saturday digital camps, specialty camp (until she aged out) and full time camp. We have watched the museum struggle during Covid when they were forced to find a new location. Under the leadership of their new CEO, we have witnessed such resilience. My daughter has participated in 3 recycling fashion shows, participated in their festival of the arts (where kids can share & sell their art), and so far for her high school career she has been a volunteer for summer camp. Through her participation in the Recycling Fashion Show she has been able to be part of an exhibition at Art Serve - sharing the display space with adult artists. She was able to paint a guitar to be auctioned for a large fundraiser for the Ann Storck center and she has been able to utilize 2 scholarships through the Florida Fashion Institue to enhance her career aspirations. My daughter has met amazing mentors and has had a positive experience at Young at Art. She has seen the museum grow and continue to serve to community even with facing challenges. Young at Art has meant a lot to our family. Yes, they look smaller but what they have provided to the community and our family is HUGE!

The museum is reasonably priced and a great size. While it's not huge, there's plenty to keep children engaged. We've been visiting every two to three months for the past two years, and it's been fun seeing some of the recent upgrades they've made. The space is open and thoughtfully divided into different themed areas. Kids can enjoy a slide, a music and movement section, a grocery store and kitchen play area, a large swing, a few simple video games, painting stations, and several daily craft activities. They've also recently added a pretend garden where children can "plant" flowers, which is such a cute interactive feature. There are playful activities scattered throughout the museum, so there's always something new to discover. Everything is designed to encourage creativity, hands-on learning, and imaginative play. My four-year-old nephew absolutely loves coming here, and we've been bringing him since he was two years old. It's one of our favorite local outings. One thing I also appreciate is that it never feels overly crowded, although we usually visit during the week. The staff are consistently friendly and welcoming, and they're especially helpful in the craft areas, where they're always encouraging and willing to assist the kids with their projects. When you arrive at the Charles F. Dodge City Center and see the huge yellow structures in the front, The Frank Art Gallery is located on the opposite side. It's a small but beautiful and modern space. They change out their art exhibits regularly. Check out their website for different classes for all ages. We attend the monthly Teen Art Club and it's only $5. So crazy how inexpensive. But something different and fun. Highly recommended. The staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable. In 2016, he was once again elected unopposed to a fourth term as Mayor of Pembroke Pines, and in 2020 Mayor Ortis was re-elected. "I like making a difference and helping people with their concerns," said Mayor Ortis. "This is a great city to live and work in, and I'm extremely proud to be a part of it." I was so afraid that the care facility that my mom is in decided to bring both assisted living and…read morememory care residents to a glass museum. Two of the memory care residents are wanderers and all I could see was someone taking a tumble into a piece of art work that was worth more than the Kardashian's homestead. The people who gave the tour were not just interesting and knowledgeable about every piece of artwork but they were incredibly passionate about getting their hands dirty and diving in to help the residents. After seeing them walk around hand in hand with those that wander I felt more at ease. This is most definitely a place to go and see the beautiful displays.
