Greg Marks treated my family DISGRACEFULLY. Don't go near him! My sister had a stroke at the age of 52, leaving her physically capable (well, marginally) of taking care of herself - eating, bathing, dressing, etc. But it left her with severe cognitive and social deficits. Her impairments with memory, attention to detail and executive functioning are damaged to the point where she will never be able to hold a job, drive a car (or even take public transportation on her own), or live by herself. We applied for SSDI with Greg Marks in the summer of 2022. We had seen his advertisements about being able to navigate the SSDI application process successfully for all his clients. After we applied under his direction, he refused to meet with us or even speak with us on the phone to update us or answer questions. Sometimes an assistant would call us back if we called him. We were denied SSDI for her, and we appealed, again with Greg Marks as our attorney. She had an interview with a judge after her appeal, and she was denied again. In November 2024, Marks's office told us she had been denied and that he was "declining" to represent her further. They would not even have a final meeting with us to make sense of the denial and direct us to any next steps available. So over two years of paying for his counsel, and now my sister can't get SSDI, Medicaid, transport service, home health care services, or anything that she will need - and that our family cannot afford to provide for her out of pocket. Greg Marks is as good as it gets! Very knowledgeable about all the rules and the in's/out's about all the Social Security laws. Mr. Marks always answered or returned my phone calls promptly. My hearing was delayed due to the virus. When I finally got my hearing it was done over the phone. Mr. Marks got me ready for the hearing. Walk me though the step by step process. I finally was approved for my benefits!! I know that with out Mr. Marks in my corner I would of never gotten anything! He really does care about individuals that are trying to get disability.
