I currently have my home and auto insurance with Greg Root for three reasons. First, I priced different insurance companies and found that State Farm was slightly cheaper than the other companies. Second, I chose Greg Root as my agent because I've known him for 14 years and he is a very good person. Third, I previously had my policies with him through State Farm between 2007 and 2010 but switched to Allstate because I got better rates for a few years. Greg Root did a great job for me between 2007 and 2010. When I left his agency in 2010 he was very gracious about me cancelling my policies and never made it a personal issue. He understood my motivation to save money and he was just as understanding when I called him up 5 years later and wanted to come back for the same reason. I have never had any negative experiences with Greg Root as a person or with his insurance company. I like that his office is fully staffed with competent people who have certain areas of expertise (Greg, Julie, Tina, and Gail) . I recently filed a claim for a parking lot accident resulting in significant bumper damage to my car. This Agency has been very pleasent to me and my family. When we closed they made sure we sat down and understood all of our coverages. Now that isn't easy to do when you have children but they gave us coloring books and crayons (HUGE BROWNIE POINTS) . They gave me a state farm mug at closing which I still use. The refreshing thing about this agency is they were good at giving me the expectations up front so I could plan ahead. the process was very smooth and within a day I was quoting and setup a time to close. Since then I haven't had a claim but I know that if I do end up needing insurance they will be their for me when I need it the most. The ladies in the office were very good at giving me the contact information for my roadside service. Its nice to go to an office and when you walk in someone greets you at the door. Even if its just to make a payment it seems like the people at the office no matter how busy they are take the time to greet you as you come in. When I came over to them for an insurance quote on my house and cars they were able to save me hundreds because of their rate but also they made sure I had the right coverages in case something were to ever happen to me or my family. They even reached out to my and try to save me money on my current car loan. I was shocked to learn that state farm was a bank too! who knew that? I have had excellent service with everyone in this office. My calls have been answered promptly and all my insurance needs have been taken care of very efficiently. I was involved in an accident and called Greg Root - he not only put me in touch with a body shop that was waiting for me, but followed up to make sure I was taken care of and if I was okay.
