So we have been working with Brandon and Hartland Insurance for over 25 years. Currently, when Brendon was looking up policies for my new policies, he decided to see if he could find a better deal for my parents, too, and started a quote in case they wanted to look into it. He found a plan that could save them hundreds a year and it's a better policy than the one that they have now. Everyone that I have worked with at the company is friendly and helpful. None of them try to pressure me, and it's like talking with a friend or family member who is looking out for my best interests. I had a commercial policy for a few years because I was delivering with DoorDash for a few years, but since I've stopped, I wanted to switch back to a regular policy to save money. So I have dealt with a few different agents, and they're all wonderful people! Brendan says that he can't always guarantee a cheaper rate. I recently moved to Michigan and this is my third agent, and by far, the worst. 1. I'm constantly getting bills in the mail that are erroneous. 2. I sometimes don't receive the bill, which is 'of course' the mail delivery's fault every single time 3. I'm constantly filling out the PIP forms, both hard copy and on the internet, and sometimes it's applied, but usually not (see item 1) 4. I ask for updated bills, with PIP applied, and they never come. I ended up sending in a payment on a vehicle after the policy was expired since it took over a month to get it resolved (or so I thought). I just received another bill on that same vehicle conflating a partial payment and the PIP applied. 5. Phone calls to get things worked out are constantly ignored. Rarely, do I get a person. I typically leave 1 to 2 messages daily, and they never get returned. 6. There is clearly a lack of clear communication between this local office and Corporate. One more error in billing or missed phone call and we're done here!

Instead, you let my policies lapse (4 or 5 vehicles as I recall) and put me in default. If that's the way you take care of good paying customers, I hate to see how you treat the cheaper ones. Now, YEARS later, I STILL have to pay these stupid rates. Thank you again. Don't call Greg if you need customer service.
