Quite a small affair, so not as much choice as some other bakeries. But it's good to have it there, so that you can get some cheap and filling lunch in the Broadway. There are some other similar, bakery type offerings nearby which are more expensive.
Greggs aint cheap enough for all though! I was in there once and I saw an old man pinch a sandwich. He swiped it from the fridge and put it under his coat, right next to a Greggs man filling the adjacent fridge with juice.
I am pretty sure the old man saw me as I caught him in the act. He looked quite downtrodden so I didn't rat him out to Mr Gregg. In fact, I was quite impressed by his faginesque nicking skills. Its the closest to Dickensian London I've ever been.
The chances are he will never see this review. He probably doesn't have internet. But then again he might supplement his skills stealing sandwiches from bakeries by stealing bandwidth(es) from (internet) cafes. So, if you're reading this old man, just so you know - I saw you what you did. read more
