The service was pretty good for how busy they were and everyone working there was really friendly. The food was well priced for London and for being so close to a big venue. The pizzas are massive - definitely shareable for 2-3 people. The watermelon and feta salad was great for me because I didn't want to eat too much before the concert. It was really refreshing and tasted very fresh. The caesar salad also looked really good and my friend enjoyed it. My sister said the burger was amazing and it came with well cooked crispy fries that were soft in the middle...perfection! The 'slice of pizza' was only about £9 and actually came with 2 large slices which we weren't expecting. Nice flavour and definitely very generous with their pizza portions, whether it's a slice or the whole pie. They also have their famous bakery at the counter, but we weren't sure if we could take food into the stadium. The crème brûlée doughnut it still on my London food bucket list so I will definitely try it at some point! Their other pastries and doughnuts looked so good, they also had large sausage rolls that were under £4, as well as other savoury pastries. Great place to stop at before a concert and don't charge you to go in during the middle of the day like Boxpark was!

It was quiet and we were served quickly. I had a very lovely shakshuka which I'm sad to say was my first but will not be my last. I saw it described as a warm hug in a bowl (elsewhere) and I decided to try it here. The only thing I can say is I needed more bread to dip into it. I soaked up my two slices so quickly. I liked the open kitchen and if I had the time I would have liked to experience a class they offer!

First things first, if you're trying to get in, press the button on the wall on the right side of the door frame - it's a sliding door... don't jump up and down or wave your hands around like a fool... just don't be that person. Once inside, order at the counter. Staff are very polite and professional, and also friendly. Take out is an option, but I prefer to sit in the window and watch the world go by. No stereotyping involved, but the service you receive in here is impeccable, they're quick but still deliver professionally. Inside is always clean, even with how busy it can get. It's got a modern sleek look that is gentle on the eyes, very photo friendly (yep, take your pics for the gram in here to be the envy of everyone) and the food displays full of Japanese baked goods will taunt you - so get something. They also make birthday cakes to order for pick up usually in 2-3 days. The matcha cake is to die for! Highly recommended!

I've come back to visit London several times since then (most recently in September) and its amazing how all the shops have changed on this block but this sandwich shop still remains! I am sooo glad it's still here! Seriously the best sandwiches, hot dishes such as Samosas- still cheap and fast service! Love that the locals come here everyday and know they can get the best sandwich or hot food from here! I'm obsessed with their simple bacon and egg sandwich (all comes on a baguette) I get it with no sauce of any kind. My second choice- chicken with corn. Simple yet so tasty. No need a million toppings-

This is the best sandwich shop in the world and I look down on anyone that disagrees. Just kidding…read more The sandwiches and employees here are pretty amazing though- as are the prices! I came here 9 years ago when I was a student and vowed to come back to try more tasty treats. I did just that and brought my husband this time! We ordered: -Tandoori sandwich (hot) -Peri Peri Chicken sandwich (hot) Both were so delicious, huge, and under 3 pounds (which is unbelievable)! I would say peri peri chicken was the tastiest. The flavor was on point and had a good kick of spice. If you want to save money and are in the area-maybe to go visit the V&A or another museum, come grab a quick meal to go here first and then have a picnic!
