These pictures are my own that I took before the visit and then another an hour afterwards (one is smiling the other relaxed.) I have not done any retouching. There's still some visible swelling in the "after" photo, but I can already tell that my lips are going to look amazing after they settle. Other notes: you have to go into the medical plaza and it's on the second floor. My temperature was taken upon arrival. Dr. Emmer ran the typical tests that one would for a new patient and then took the time to sit down with me and go over each and everyone with me personally. His nurse is also very thorough and gathers a lot of information regarding how your feeling, your weight, blood pressure, etc. I have been back for a couple of follow up visits and was treated the same way. Dr. Emmer and his nurse even took the time to talk to me about the current Virus pandemic and how to deal with it now, and in the future. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.

That son now lives in Charlotte, but he still comes home when needed to see Dr. Germain or Dr. Holly. He says his trust is in her practice and mine is too. Partial Treatment and Inadequate Resolution at Augusta Location…read more I purchased Brazilian/bikini and underarm laser packages at Milan Laser, Augusta, GA. I began my bikini treatment at the McDonough location and experienced excellent service. However, at the Augusta location, where I purchased two additional packages, I received only partial treatment for the Brazilian area during my January 24, 2026 appointment. I reported this to corporate, but their only resolution was: 1. Continue treatment with the same technicians who did not provide full service, 2. Transfer my services to another Milan location -- however, there are no nearby alternatives in the Augusta area, and the closest practical location in McDonough, GA is not local or convenient for ongoing treatment, or 3. Cancel my services and accept a $507.80 refund, which would forfeit the lifetime guarantee for packages that originally cost thousands of dollars. Despite multiple emails and calls, no meaningful resolution has been provided. My experience at McDonough demonstrates that the Augusta location deviated from standard practices. I hope Milan addresses these issues so clients can receive complete, safe, and fair treatment. Update***** After posting this review, I received a phone call from Chloe on the Client Resolution team. She stated that no additional resolution options would be offered beyond what had already been presented. When I asked to escalate the matter to a supervisor, I was told that would not be possible. At this point, I have exhausted internal resolution efforts. My concerns regarding incomplete treatment and scheduling inconsistencies remain unaddressed.
