I paid Kasper Automotive over $5,000 to overhaul my engine on a classic car. The engine blew three…read moremain crankshaft bearings after just 942 miles. The owner of Kasper automotive fired the guy that did my engine and did not have anyone to fix it (Quote...I fired him because he messed up a lot of cars...does not surprise me that your engine blew). After six months, he still did not have anybody, so I contacted him, told him that I have a friend that will overhaul it. He told me to send him the receipts, which I did. They totalled just $2,500. I waited a year and a half....he never paid me. I am now suing him in small claims court for the full $5,000.00 Also, a friend of mine brought their Ford Crown Vic in to have it looked at....he said it needed a $2,800 transmission! They went to another shop for a quote and that shop told them they just needed a TUNE UP!!

Stay away from this pace at all costs. There are so many…read morenegative things that happened to me there. From not doing the job correctly, putting the car back together with parts from another similar car. Being overcharged is another one. They spend time on the phone and talk to people who walk in while your being charged for that time.

He fixed both the heating and air conditioning in our 1992 Ford F-250 in 24 hours, for the exact price he estimated. And just to be kind, he found us a replacement hubcap at a salvage yard for a fraction of what it would've cost elsewhere. We'll be giving 3D all our business from now on. Waited 5 days to get my car in. Took my car there for a 9am appointment because my automatic would…read morenot shift out of second gear. I called them at 430pm to see how it was going. They said they looked at it for a little bit and ordered a few parts that they may arrive the following day. They said they were going to put the parts on "to see what that would do". When asked if replacing parts without authorization or without knowing the cause of the problem was standard practice they had no answer. Told them I was coming to pick up my car and I would take it elsewhere. When I arrived I was told it would be a few minutes because they had to jump the car. Drove the car home and it hasn't started since. Wasn't a problem before. Had to tow the car to the next repair shop. Charged $40 for the "repair".
