The informed me it was not covered under warranty because of "debrie" "later confirmed was rust and wiping it out with a cloth fixed the problem". Manager Joe "did not give his last name" who was extremely condescending the entire time. Insisted it was not rust. Did take cover the cost of the diagnostic. Main issue is I was not told before hand that if it was not covered under warranty I would be charged over 200$ for a diagnostic. This is something I would think is extremely important to cover before performing the service.Especially when the customer specifically asks if the service would be covered under the warranty. I have p t s d. And manager Joe's condescending tone and words.\nWere extremely aggravating and a common trigger for veterans with p t s d. Young lady at the counter was extremely professional.The entire time and I think her for actually being a professional even though the example given by her boss is exactly the opposite of that. They said they looked at it for a little bit and ordered a few parts that they may arrive the following day. They said they were going to put the parts on "to see what that would do". When asked if replacing parts without authorization or without knowing the cause of the problem was standard practice they had no answer. Told them I was coming to pick up my car and I would take it elsewhere. When I arrived I was told it would be a few minutes because they had to jump the car. Drove the car home and it hasn't started since. Wasn't a problem before. Had to tow the car to the next repair shop. Charged $40 for the "repair".

The owner of Kasper automotive fired the guy that did my engine and did not have anyone to fix it (Quote...I fired him because he messed up a lot of cars...does not surprise me that your engine blew). After six months, he still did not have anybody, so I contacted him, told him that I have a friend that will overhaul it. He told me to send him the receipts, which I did. They totalled just $2,500. I waited a year and a half....he never paid me. I am now suing him in small claims court for the full $5,000.00 Also, a friend of mine brought their Ford Crown Vic in to have it looked at....he said it needed a $2,800 transmission! They went to another shop for a quote and that shop told them they just needed a TUNE UP!!
