A portable, easy to lay down and lift up ramp would solve the issue. However, I was informed that this won't help as the office has changed inside so that I can't wheel about in there even if I did gain entry. There is no space, this is what I was told. JM, in response to your need for a larger space to serve everyone: And yet last year I was able to fit in the waiting area and get an exam. I don't think that your space has suddenly become smaller. And in regard to your landlord not supplying a portable, light weight, easy to carry and place on the step out front to make your store accessible: This isn't something that the landlord would need to install as it doesn't get installed and would work like moving a chair from one side of the room to another. Also, before making the appointment I asked the receptionist whether the doctor can give me a prescription for sunglasses without lenses and she said "absolutely". The doctor refused to issue me a prescription for normal sunglasses because they "don't do that". So the receptionist just lied to me!
