It tasted just like vinegar, was super cloudy and had stuff floating around in it. After one sip from a few people who concurred it tasted just like vinegar we dumped it down the drain. It tasted NOTHING like what we sampled at the Saturday Market and it was also not clear like our sample was. There was no peach flavor just the overwhelming vinegar flavor.

They reluctantly gave us more til our friends went In to say the same thing. They refused our friends and walked out SUPER RUDELY and asked us a condescending question "do you guys want to stay or GO?" Then proceeded to tell us they believed we have all been over served and we needed to leave. Remember this was only our SECOND winery, and we are all in the service industry (we know when to cut people off). They were offended by us and our fun right from the get go. We were sitting outside by the fire pit. Minding our own business... We will never be back to this place, they are so incredibly rude and don't deserve the business. Very disappointing. The over all wine tour was excellent, just make sure you skip over quady north when you do one. I wish I could mark zero stars, but I had to click one.

My husband is now excited to come out and do a tandem glide experience. We were lucky enough to be able to see two gliders come in just before we left. I can just imagine how great this experience is in the summer when it is a bit warmer! Dave also shared the future plans for Fiasco which include Friday night events, food on site and more. Of course, the wines were lovely, too. The Sangiovese was a big hit with my husband and I was very happy with the Cab Sauv. Love the idea of the "fiasco" refill jug! Looking forward to heading back out in a couple weeks for the wine club release event! If you are in the Applegate area tasting be SURE to stop in at Fiasco! Truly, there's nothing better on a chilly day than a wonderful glass of wine paired with genuine hospitality. During our trip, we found ourselves returning to Walport Family Cellars several times. Each visit was just as welcoming as the last. The owners and staff have a special way of making you feel right at home, creating an atmosphere that's relaxed, inviting, and memorable. We'll never forget the fudge pairing they offered--the flavors were incredible and perfectly complemented the wines. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by--not only for their outstanding wines, but also to hear the story behind them. That was steep, but both the wines and the pizza were exceptional, as was the outdoor seating area. The indoor space is gorgeous as well, and I have to mention beautiful bathrooms! Our servers were friendly but not as knowledgeable as talking to the wine makers (as I had last time) and also there was less flexibility about trying things off the list, which other wineries did accommodate. Still, the Cowhorn ethic and wines are stellar and thus the 5 stars.

The views are beautiful and the patio offers nice shade. There is an inside area as well but it was a perfect day to be outside. The owner (I can't recall his name) immediately greeted us as we approached, sat us down and asked what types of wines we typically enjoyed. There was no looking and deciding about what tasting to do. There is a description of all their wines at the table. He then brought out the wines, explained them and why he selected them for us. We enjoyed a lovely charcuterie board, some deviled eggs, spending a couple of hours there. We purchased 4 bottles of wine as well. It was a really lovely experience and I highly recommend. We selected Valley View because it was the first official winery in the applegate AVA.
