This winery is lovely. The wine was very good, especially the Chenin Blanc , which for someone who prefers red wines is saying a lot. The ambience is first class-located next to a fenced pasture with horses, a large pond where the ducks were playing, and views of the distant hills. We will definitely go back! read more

Have lived in Sonoma County since 1984 so this was not our first rodeo visiting a winery by any means. The limited hours are explained by Brian, the owner, being an actual farmer who is in the vineyards with his team regularly. There is not "tasting room" or staff (at least on weekdays) to speak of. Gorgeous outside area more than makes up for it. Excellent wines, many that you won't find around here. It reminded me of old time Sonoma County wineries back in the day that lacked pretention and yet were gorgeous, memorable, and "real." Can't recommend a visit highly enough...unless you enjoy pretention. Brian is worldly and the funnier for it. He was a hoot. We have 150 or so bottles of wine in our "wine closet" yet we brought 6 bottles back we enjoyed them so much. See you next year Brian. read more

It was a truly amazing experience at Eliana last Saturday. It's a boutique, hidden gem in the Rouge valley. Brian, the owner, is a knowledgeable, gracious host, wonderful person who creates a beautiful wines. My personal favorite ones were Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc Blanc. read more

We visited last summer and were driving through the Ashland area again and knew we had stop by for a tasting. Brian is such a treat! His Zimbabwean accent has the same effect as Morgan Freeman's - everything's just better! You're captivated by his story-telling and love for the wine. The wine is divine as well! The Cabernet Franc is our favorite but we came home with 4 bottles: Cab Franc, Cab Sav, Malbec and Tempranillo. Beautiful views of mount Ashland and the Rogue Valley below make for quite the stimulation for your eyes, ears, and palette. read more

Best wine in the rogue valley. I had zero reservations about signing up for the wine club and am already looking forward to the first shipment. Our host and the Vintner was approachable and down to earth. Hailing from Zimbabwe he was interesting to talk to. This was the only winery that we had the wine poured individually and he gave us information at these points in time. There was plenty of shade in the seating area. We were given ample time to chat and enjoy the view as the vintner did chores within eye sight of us. He was always available to chat. read more

After reading the positive reviews for Eliana wines, I decided to visit and I'm grateful I did. This was a rather small and intimate tasting experience which made it even better than normal. We were met by the owner who is a very warm and gregarious man. The wines he provided were really good but the Cab Franc and Cab Sauv were standouts with me taking a bottle home back to Seattle. Such an adorable little spot with a wonderful view and tasting space. Great if you want an intimate tasting experence with a small group, but the owners will happily pull together some extra chairs if you have a larger group. Brian was friendly and warm and unbelievably helpful. We managed to get our car stuck in the dirt and he came out and dug for 20 minutes to get us out! Such lovely and kind people. Tried to find the tasting room. Followed the signs to the driveway but then there weren't any signs showing the tasting room. We saw the house, a couple of sheds but nothing that looked like a welcoming tasting room. Apparently we weren't the only ones as a car pulled in before us looking for the tasting room. They pulled out also not having a tasting room. With all the good reviews I wish we could've tried the wine. Please work on you signage and openness. read more

Wonderful tiny wine place in the hills just a few minutes from downtown Ashland. Deeply extracted and elegant red wines. Very informal setting under the trees with a few chairs scattered around. The host, who is the farmer, is inviting and informative. This is the experience of wine tasting in the country that we always try to find but somehow seldom do. read more
