I should have checked but I made the faulty assumption it was handled correctly. Upon discovering that it was the wrong script I rushed back to the store by 7:15. The pharmacy gate was down but there were people there. I relayed the urgency but received a shrug, 'we're closed'. The worst service ever. Change pharmacies if you can.

Very rude and un-cooperative pharmacy staff. My providers phone was not pickup even trying multiple…read moretimes to place my prescription , she also left voicemail but there was no call back nor any medicine was prepared. When I went to pick the counter staff was very rude, said there is no voice mail. I showed the my prediction and doctors contact saying that they tried to contact, no one would pick up the phone. The voice mail Was left but no medicine was prepared. I asked if they could all my doctor she said she doesn't, I called the doctors office so that they could speak to the staff at the pharmacy, she refused. Asked if there is another number, my provider could call , she said there is no other nunmber. Showed here the prescription but she staff refused to take the prescription. This happened when I went to collect my prescription after my oral surgery, asked for the manager, she told me I would receive text if the order has been placed, that it. No apologies of the other staff rude and irresponsible behavior, no apologies on the Pharmacy's behalf. This has been the worst experience I have had in any pharmacies.

This Walgreen's is one of them, but the closer to present day we're talking about, the less frequent my visits have been. I have yet to make a 2026 visit, but I did come just a few weeks before this past New Year when I was trying to complete my shopping for a gift exchange that was happening the next night. If you haven't figured it out yet, this place is one where while I haven't been in recently, I have been in here more than enough times that I can safely say what my thoughts about this place are without any worry they will change anytime soon, if ever. Honestly, this Walgreen's is really just a place I would go to if I really need something simple from there like a gift card, wrapping paper, or maybe even a light snack. I never pick up meds from their pharmacy because I go to a CVS for that. I used to get their soft drinks from time to time until I found cheaper options that were more in line with what I needed. It was never really reliable when I used to eat frozen meals a lot more often in the 2010's. It was always more useful for something like the ice cream bites or the like. As for the inside of the store itself, it's basically fallen in line with other Walgreen's in the state. They're a struggling franchise. While I can still sometimes get what I need from here, the post-pandemic world has certainly not been kind to this location. It also hasn't helped that ever since The SoNo Collection was built this has inevitably taken traffic away from this Walgreen's. Maybe a little too much traffic away for this place to be relevant anymore. I don't mind this Walgreen's and I'll still come in if the situation absolutely calls for it, but I don't know for how much longer this location is going to survive.

This place is a nightmare!! I thought I would do well by switching from the big chain pharmacy up…read morethe street to this local firm but boy was I wrong! For one thing, they cannot count out pills accurately... sometimes over or under by 10 to 12 tablets, they never deliver when they say they will and they ignore your specific requests to make their serving you the customer simple and without problems. At a recent delivery, I was promised that before they would deposit my check, (a payment on my house account,) that we would go over all the errors and get everything straightened out. .....Accounting wise and Rx wise!!!! So much for that promise... They did not wait for me to go over the concerns I had with them and I was unable to get my meds correct count wise. (It really could not be simplier... I take 4 meds each day and my Rx's are written for 30 days each refill... so why do I have some pills left over and why do I have broken tablets in my pill bottles? I am going back to a chain... at least when they count your meds they count to 30 accurately. When you rely on medications as I do errors like this are not acceptable. One of my meds cannot be skipped and I was out so I called for a refill....they never showed up and I had to page them via their emergency pager system... that took forever! When they showed up they gave me one pill even tho they promised 3 to get me thru the weekend. Band aids, shampoo and Tums are one thing but Rx's and daily heart meds are another! In short I suggest that you stay away from Hope Street Pharmacy!

I walk in to fill…read moremy medications and every time I went here I've had to wait at least an hour, when they have almost 20 people working there. That's just the tip of the iceberg, I need specific generic brands as others don't work well with me. When I request the specific generic brand I must have the person I'm talking with has absolutely no clue as to what I'm asking. Not only that, when they do finally understand what I'm talking about I still get the wrong generic! Also, the service and treatment is just terrible. The people they have working there are mostly kids still in high school so you already know they have no clue about pharmaceuticals and they always give you an attitude nomatter who you speak with. That's not all, when you walk in to fill your RX your going to wait at least 45 minutes even if your the only customer there. You will also be questioned if you really need the medication as if they're doctors, and you have to make sure that the prescription is written perfect by your doctor. Why? Well a couple of the medications I take cannot be stopped suddenly or I will have seizures and stroke which is not understood at this pharmacy as they denied my medication even after they called my doctor who even gave the override. When and if you do get your RX here, make sure they double count it in front of you. I do not recommend this pharmacy and neither does my doctor after I told him what goes on there. Even a few friends I have said it's the worst pharmacy they have ever been to. Expect to have someone with no idea about pharmaceuticals, have no medical background, and are probably still in high school to herass you, question your doctor, over charge, and most likely deny filling your RX. Don't be surprised if you have to wait over an hour and find yourself missing a few tablets of your medication. This place is the ideal way how not to run a business and show no regard to your health. I hope this warning reaches those who medically rely on a medication(s) to function in life.
