There's been a handful of stores I'd be a customer in in the years I've lived in this state and still sometimes go to now and then. This Walgreen's is one of them, but the closer to present day we're talking about, the less frequent my visits have been. I have yet to make a 2026 visit, but I did come just a few weeks before this past New Year when I was trying to complete my shopping for a gift exchange that was happening the next night. If you haven't figured it out yet, this place is one where while I haven't been in recently, I have been in here more than enough times that I can safely say what my thoughts about this place are without any worry they will change anytime soon, if ever. Honestly, this Walgreen's is really just a place I would go to if I really need something simple from there like a gift card, wrapping paper, or maybe even a light snack. I never pick up meds from their pharmacy because I go to a CVS for that. I used to get their soft drinks from time to time until I found cheaper options that were more in line with what I needed. It was never really reliable when I used to eat frozen meals a lot more often in the 2010's. It was always more useful for something like the ice cream bites or the like. As for the inside of the store itself, it's basically fallen in line with other Walgreen's in the state. They're a struggling franchise. While I can still sometimes get what I need from here, the post-pandemic world has certainly not been kind to this location. It also hasn't helped that ever since The SoNo Collection was built this has inevitably taken traffic away from this Walgreen's. Maybe a little too much traffic away for this place to be relevant anymore. I don't mind this Walgreen's and I'll still come in if the situation absolutely calls for it, but I don't know for how much longer this location is going to survive. read more

Such a disastrous setup of a Walgreens. Dirty, unorganized with bare shelves. Asked for help after waiting 20 minutes for someone to help me and they had no idea if they had children's Tylenol! Never going to this Walgreens ever again. read more

I arrived to the store at 9:28. The associate was already standing here texting and he just stared at me and then decided to state they were closed. This location is always closing early and it's ridiculous. The associate was very nasty and I will never visit this location again. read more

Wonderful call for the pharmacy. In healthcare myself It is no issue for me to wait on the phone, it was only max 10 min on a Monday which IS not bad for a pharmacy. Anyway, I had a medication that was not processing correctly with my insurance and the pharmacy staff - in particular Kayla, eased my anxiety about my ex status. The floor staff in there is very nice as well and the store is clean. I'm not sure why or how people expect things to just process at a click of a button. Wake up America is healthcare in 2024. Pick a better president next time. The shortages are not to be blamed on the pharmacists! They are awesome here, highly recommend. read more

After finally parting ways with this local pharmacy due to their incredible unprofessionalism I was recently re-exposed to their practices while caring for my friend's elderly mother. Unsurprisingly I have been reacquainted with the atrocity of this Pharmacy. The Emergency Room is where my friend's mother wound up as a result of this pharmacy, and I am certain she will be back there again in the next 48 hours due to their continued ways. First, everyone was out of the pharmacy due to COVID, while this is somewhat understandable, what isn't is the lack of any backup plans or communication protocols. Finally, after two days, they were apparently open yesterday until 7PM, I went to the store at 4:45 to find out they were closed. Today, I spent over 1 hour on hold waiting for them to pick up, to then find out after physically visiting the store that the Pharmacy was again closed. If a Pharmacy is going to close unexpectedly like this, wouldn't they at least update their phone voice service and have some sort of contingency plan with other local pharmacies? My friend's mother 100% have to go back to the Emergency room now due to the poor communications and unprofessionalism of this store. read more

The staff is nice but the pharmacy hours are absurd. How are you not open for even 3-4 hours on a weekend for pickups?! I tried to pick up during the week and my script wasn't ready. Got a text and went back and it was closed because there was no pharmacist available. Went back and they were closed again. They're closed weekends. I hate to switch because it's convenient but it's so hard to get anything from there. read more

If I could give the pharmacist a zero today, it would be because we choose them to give us the medication when we are ill. My daughter is really sick, so when we ask questions, we just want to know the answer--we're not looking for someone to tell us to search Google for the information. She's a huge, Spanish woman with spectacles, and I don't know her name, but it's obvious she doesn't like her work. Really impolite. She gave the drugstore a poor look. read more

Today my son and I decided to pick a shelter we know helps women in need. I printed out their wish list and my son picked a couple of items off their list. I then checked Walgreens website and found a lot of great coupons that helped our dollars stretch. When we checked out I scaned my loyalty card and the total amount due dropped. That was a cool feeling. I hope to find more coupons next year and challenge my son and I to make a bigger purchase to donate. December. My company and co-workers wanted to help the same women's shelter in Norwalk this Holiday season as well. I called Wallgreens and let them know I would be visiting their store to purchase items. Vinny knew exactly who I was and helped me every step of the way. He showed me how to maximize my companie's and co-workers fund's to maximize our donation. He was so patient and kind. I love purchasing items for my household and now I love this Walgreens even more for guiding me in our donation purchases. read more

THE WORST PHARMACY! The entire staff are beyond rude and the hours are ridiculously inconvenient for the average person. I can write many many unpleasant interactions with the staff but I'm spending too much time even writing this. I took my prescriptions to CVS. read more

I know the world is short staffed at the moment but this pharmacy has gone from bad to worse - from not opening weekends, to short hours, to changing hours at short notice, it's the hardest thing ever to get a prescription refill. I liked it as its in SONO and walking distance for me, but I'm afraid I will have to start taking my business elsewhere. it's too hard to get anything, and the staff just seem to have an attitude even when you are polite to them. Went here today, it is the closest drug store to my house. It is usually clean and organized. Parking is good and they are open late (until 12am). My main problem with this place is that the employees are un organized and not the friendliest or most professional. I came in today in particular to get a flu shot. There was no one at all waiting at the pharmacy so i assumed this should have been fast. The girl typed all my information in and told me to wait on the side for her to print out a paper. I waited for probably 15 minutes as more people got in line. The girl who told me she was getting my flu shot went mia. Another girl came to the front and even though i had been waiting there for 20 minutes they took another person who had gotten there probably 15 minutes after i had. Then the girl was like "hold on i will be right with you in a few more minutes". She then proceeded to take the whole line of people while i waited longer. Probably ended up being there nearly an hour just to get a flu shot. If they had better communication that girl could have known i had been there first and had been waiting a pretty long time. read more
