Dr. Griffin's staff knows us and our fur babies by name. They've taken care of our fur family for more than 15 years and we've never had a bad experience. The prices are reasonable and because of that you may sometimes have a wait when taking your pet to him. I have never been disappointed except for it is hard now that you have to make an appointment to set an appointment without waiting a couple months, but it is worth it because they're amazing. Always Mr. Keith shares with me so I can understand what could possibly be going on when I take either of my two fur babies (dogs) to him. GET YOUR RECEIPT !!! I went to pick up some meds for my dogs the lady at the front desk over charged by $20 .. She was shocked when I ask for a receipt she couldn't even figure what she charged me . I have taken my dogs to Griffins Animal Hospital since 1992 when I moved to the area and Dr Griffin SR was the vet. The Younger Dr Griffin has been the vet for many years now and has been every bit as good as his Dad was. They now take reservations so the wait is much shorter. You do have to make your appointment at least a month or more in advance though because of the high demand. His prices are the best anywhere and he is as or more knowledgeable than any vet around. I highly recommend Dr Griffin for regular checkups, shots, diagnostics as well as needed surgeries. read more

I took my daughter and her sick dog on a Monday morning. The older man was not there. The doctor must have been the son. He and the young nurse need to take a class on customer relations. Maybe it was a hectic morning. I will return again because they did not try to fleece the daughter. But she was upset at the attitude of the doctor and nurse. Everyone else was friendly and helpful. You have to be very careful with veterinarians. They can play on your emotions and clean out the bank account. People love their pets . They will spend everything to make them better. I recommend with some reservation. Update: After one week of administering the antibiotics from Griffin's, the little dog seems to have recovered. She almost died. I am very thankful for Griffin's. Just learn a little public relations. It goes a long way . read more

I love this vet! The receptionist are always so sweet at check-in. Then when they take my dog to the back they are very informative and listen to all my questions and concerns. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait but that doesn't bother me. The prices are great and the service is awesome! read more

This is a very good vet clinic. We have owned 2 dogs that this clinic has taken very good care of. One dog died at age 16 but vet took care of him to the end. The cost of care is very reasonable. I have recommended them to friends and family. read more

Dr. Griffin has taken care of all of our pets. He understands that without his services many of his patients owners wouldn't be able to afford quality care for them. The office is first come, first served so expect to wait several hours. Its the trade off for affordable care. Dr. Griffin also is on the leading edge of veterinary medicine developing a new treatment for my daughters little dog who had tremendous spinal pain. Several of my pets have died under there care. The last pet they saw was my cat for a UTI they told me they needed to keep him and wouldn't let me see him. After the 2nd day I went to get him and he was lifeless... I had to rush him to a real animal hospital and they told me if he would have stayed there one more day he would be dead.. please don't take your animals there.. you get what you pay for... read more

I would never recommend this place to anyone. Dr. Griffin is very kind but I think they just have too much traffic coming through to be careful and thorough. both my kitten and her sister, owned by a friend, got infections from being spayed and their stitches were poorly sewn, and had to be removed by a different vet very soon after surgery. we were also quoted one price and paid over twice as much. read more

Dr. Griffin's office may be in an old building that lacks the bells and whistles of a new building, however, he truly CARES about animals. I drove almost two hours from the Atlanta area to take my sphynx cat after my mother recommended him. My cat was having horrible skin issues in which I had tried everything at home from switching her food and litter to all natural and bathing her with special shampoo. I took her on a Saturday morning. They open at 8 and close their doors at 11:30 AM but continue to serve all customers until they are gone. They do NOT take appointments on any day of the week as it is first come, first serve. It was packed. They don't start seeing patients until 9 AM but when they do they are on a roll going in the order in which you arrive and sign in. We were in and out by 9:50 and I was the 12th person on the list when I arrived at 8:15 AM. He was very reasonably priced charging me less than half of what my usual vet charges for her routine shots and he gave her a shot and an oral antibiotic for her skin. By Monday evening, my cats skin was almost all clear after months of on and off irritation. In addition, Dr. Griffin recently had to care for my parents' dog after it was attacked by another dog in the neighborhood while on a walk. Their dog healed quickly from his wounds under his care without charging the $400 that a more local vet quoted her. They took the dog to him several times for check ups during the healing process and they were only charged a fraction of what other vets quoted. In summary, it was well worth the drive to go see him as my cat is now finally irritation free and up to date on all of her shots. My other vet may have a fancy building but this guy's care is unmatched! read more
