It's at the base of UT-150, better known as the Mirror Lake Highway, and it's just what you need when you're headed out for an adventure. I've talked about their connection to the highway before (summary: you can buy a $45 annual pass at their service counter) but I need to give them another shoutout. Over the last five years since my second review, I've been in countless times for pre-camp or pre-hike supplies. You know--the things you forget, or the junky things you get just because. I've stopped here for dinner a few times, but if you get there later than about 4pm, the selection of pre-made sandwiches, deli items, etc is pretty slim. And, to be honest, that's one area where I think they can improve. Not just the selection, but the care and quality that goes into those things. I mean, if I had my druthers, I'd stop at a local restaurant for food, but since I often come through town after dinner time on a Friday night after finishing work for the week, I want to get something quick! The magic is also with the gas station in that regard. I almost always fuel up here, even if I already have a nearly full tank. When I head up and out for 4WD adventures, the last thing I want is to have to turn back because of fuel worries. That little gas station just keeps on providing great drinks and a quick fuel. Add that to a grocery store that can help you grab things you may have forgotten (marshmallows!) and you've got a 1-2 punch that preps you for adventure.

When you finally (thankfully) get to Morgan you'll coast into this 7 Eleven you'll feel like it's the brightest, biggest, most beautiful building in the universe. Indeed, it's a nice, modern, definitely open at 3am gas station with a hefty-sized convenience store on premises. Dig your fingernails out of the steering wheel, fuel up, and then thank heaven for 7 Eleven.

We stopped in Hefener, a small town admit 20 miles or so from Morgan and drove around for 30 minutes trying to find a invisible gas station. They were closed so we didn't realize that we had passed it 3 times! We made it to this 7 Eleven on EMPTY, LITERALLY and I was almost in tears! I am doing Dry January, so tried the Bloody Mary mix and blue cheese stuffed olives - really good, an alcohol free red wine (not so good, but I've never found one I like), and a non-alcoholic Lyre's sparking white wine that I've had before and really like. I didn't expect to buy anything when we entered but left with a few selections. They deliver across the country and as we left the store I turned around and asked if they could ship my purchases to avoid packing them. A quick transaction later and I was on my way. It is situated upstairs in one of the cute historic buildings of Park City Main Street, and is a wonderful place to shop for gifts. They let you sample their vinegars and oils before buying, and I highly recommend sampling a few because I have found so many exquisite flavors of balsamic vinegar that I never would have been open minded to try before. Some of my favorites are the peach (white balsamic great for summertime), fig, strawberry, and black currant. My boyfriend and I have quite a collection of them now, and we like to rotate between them as we eat salads pretty often and these make every salad taste amazing. Pro tip-- pay the little bit extra to get the rubber pour-control spout thing that they sell at the cash register. It helps control the vinegar from making a mess, and reduces waste by quite a bit. It is so worth it and will make your salads more well-covered without being drowned in vinegar at the bottom.
