On top of that, the technician pushed for a full set of fluid flushes that felt more like an upsell than a necessity. Then I remembered I had previously used Largo Frame & Alignment for a rear axle replacement and had been very happy with their work. They were communicative throughout the process and kept me informed every step of the way. This time was no different. Sierra was especially helpful--thoroughly answering my questions, which I really appreciated. The diagnostic fee was applied to the total cost, and the final bill came to $2,000. Also claimed they couldn't do the work in one day, which would mean staying in a hotel. Another local shop confirmed our suspicion that we were being gouged and overcharged and helped us find an alternative when they were not able to fit us in this week. Went down to Farmington, NM to Gene's Frame and Alignment who charged us $1100. He said that we did NOT need the back rotors and the back pads were borderline for needing to be changed. He also spotted a broken stabilizer bracket and was able to fix that quickly on the spot at the same time. All completed in about 6 hours.
