Another local shop confirmed our suspicion that we were being gouged and overcharged and helped us find an alternative when they were not able to fit us in this week. Went down to Farmington, NM to Gene's Frame and Alignment who charged us $1100. He said that we did NOT need the back rotors and the back pads were borderline for needing to be changed. He also spotted a broken stabilizer bracket and was able to fix that quickly on the spot at the same time. All completed in about 6 hours.
