I spent a few minutes in the phone. they said, "Vehicle running rough as soon as it was brought in." Wtf. I hold all my documents of vehicle repairs in a binder. I was a case manager and I know how to be organize. They were the last one who touched that part of the vehicle. I went here for the last 9 years but the nerve of making me feel like I don't know the history of my vehicle. And WHAT THE H*LL, HOW does an ENGINE COVER MAKE A VEHICLE DRIVE ROUGHLY. Never bringing my car here, never recommending this place.

She happily honored my gift certs, gave me a heads-up about the taxes (totally fair, no surprises), and made the whole check-in feel effortless. The waiting lobby? Spotless and surprisingly festive. Picture this: a Valentine's Day-themed Christmas tree (yes, you read that right--holiday mashup goals!) plus cute decorations everywhere. Plenty of comfy seats, and the self-serve station was a dream: endless Diet Coke from the fountain (I may have had... several), fresh coffee with all the fixings, and even popcorn. I felt like I was at a movie theater, not waiting for an oil change. 10/10 snack game! While my car was getting pampered, there's a live monitor showing the mechanics at work--super reassuring and kinda cool to watch. After chugging all that Diet Coke, I needed the facilities... and the women's restroom was impressively clean, well-stocked, and even smelled nice. Who knew a quick lube stop could include such thoughtful touches?Destiny popped back to suggest an engine flush and showed me the sludge monster hiding in there (gross but eye-opening!). I said yes, and she hooked me up with my AAA discount--15% off? Yes please! When everything was done, the technician came in beaming, handed me my keys with a big smile, wished me a great day, and even held the door like a gentleman. Bonus: my car's interior was vacuumed and had a light, fresh scent. My ride home smelled better than I did! Huge thanks to Destiny and the entire crew--you turned a routine errand into one of the most enjoyable car visits ever. Who knew that Jiffy Lube does brakes? After noticing that I had a grinding noise coming from the…read moreback of my camper van when I applied my brakes, I started calling around to find someone to look into it. Six or eight different phone numbers didn't answer or told me that it would be a week before they could fit me in. Then I noticed that the local Jiffy Lube does brakes. Short version is they found out that I was down to metal and needed new brakes. They changed my oil and did all of the things they usually do in just a few minutes then spent the rest of the day fixing my brakes. I am so happy to be back on the road having lost only a day.

This place is a scam! First off charged my friend two days of being without her car and $149 for a…read morehose clamp! She was told they couldn't find the problem but turned off the check engine light...WOW!! On top of that, they do interlocks and I helped someone load their car on a trailer and haul it down to have the interlock coded because they were locked out and didn't make it in time (paid in time/but car has to be recoded)...so we called because on my maps it showed we would arrive at 401. We called and Al said 4 pm no exceptions. Ok, so I pick up speed and got wobbly, about lost my truck and trailer with the car-showed up at 359, he walked in the door at 4pm and was denied...WOW!! Two seconds to recode car and they refuse, saying 4 pm is cutoff, well it's 4pm and I'm standing here now (at the point it was 402 because he came out and said that two people ahead of him, and than he walked back in and walked out and said they said come back tomorrow). So 4 pm is not the cutoff, maybe 359!! If this was the case I would've turned around at 358 instead of continuing another 300 feet!! /utterly ridiculous!! On top of all of that, they have shorted the car out 4 times in 10 months-charging $85 each time this happens, on top of the monthly $87 fee...so scam artists!! Yes!!! Good business, NO!! I usually brush stuff off but the receptionist was exceptionally RUDE and argued with me saying it was after 4 pm, well maybe the second time he walked in. Either way, you see someone there on time, who had to go to great lengths bringing a car on a car trailer and so RUDE. This is not the way to conduct business and I'll be honest, I know someone who does this for a living and I called and asked him who was the cheapest to go to-he told me Al's, but he also said, he was a snake...Wow, now I know what he means. I knew after the first two "shorts" to charge and extra $85!! To do this to people that are already struggling with court fees, probation costs and you know they're not doing great in life if they're dealing with a DWI/DUI. Pay the extra $10 and go to a different interlock place-also as a mechanic -I wouldn't bring a lawn mower to them, they can't even figure out how to fix an air flow sensor when the check engine light told them exactly what the problem was!! If you need a mechanic, I found one-Bryant Motorsportz-call Billy at 505-860-6792 and he will help you without ripping you off!! ALS is a RIPOFF!!!

I asked for a call when then car is in the shop. 4 hours later still no call. I called and spoke to someone who 1. Didn't know what vehicle I was talking about 2. Then said oh yea it's been done for hours. 3. I asked about the brake noise update. He didn't know what I was talking about then said oh they were fine. I asked why I didn't receive a call. He said "I had to leave to get my hair cut". I then asked, so was the noise investigated? He then got snippy and said, "I said they were fine". I asked him how he knew since he was out getting a hair cut. Then he said I was being rude because I asked who he talked to about the noise and if the brakes were worn down or if the rotators were needed to be grinded. He still didn't have an answer and said well you can just buy new brakes and rotators if you're concerned about it then. ‍‍‍ I told him nevermind, I'll come get my car and take it elsewhere. When I got back to the shop, he tried to backtrack. But too little too late.
