He never rushes me, and explains every option to me no matter what I'm am going through. Im not just a number to him. He knows my name, my family, and that makes me feel good. He has delivered both of my children and has operated on my endometriosis. I have another operation with him next month and I'm completely confident that this will be successful. In addition to Dr Plancher, I have had the wonderful opportunity to meet his new associate Dr. G. I was with her yesterday and she spent 30 minutes with me going over my medical history, asking questions and explaining the surgical procedure that I will be having next month with both Dr. G and Dr. Plancher. I had an issue and called to speak with a PA, who called me back within an hour or 2. Was very freindl, concerned, and helpful which I much appreciated. I havent waited more than 15 minutes here in the lobby which is great, even in the afternoon. Very easy to book an appointment with a PA last minute becuase there are other locations close by (westbury...) and even in queens. Suggest booking early to see an MD. If want to see an MD, must mention it when booking. MD not usually in on Fridays. If no other pateint booked on day of your appt, your appt will get rescheduled. If your pregnant, you need to see Ob-Gyn doc (not gyn doc). There are approx only 1-2 Ob-gyn doc work at each location on only certain days. If want to see a diff doctor at each prenatal visit (to ensure you have met the doctor that you will see at time if delivery which I recommend), then you will need to visit their other locations. Majority of their locations are in Nassau county of LI which are 15-30 minutes from each other, so it's not too bad. Only doctor office that did not give me a hard time about my high deductible insurance which I cant pay with an HSA acct until I receive EOB and doc bill with matching amounts. All other doctor office harrass me to pay upfront and does not understand this type of insurance and method of pmt is common. Affiliated with LIJ, which is best in this area for delivering a baby. Parking lot with easy parking available at this location and westbury. Not in forest hills but there are garages can pay nearby. I def recommend this location. The forest hills is all the above but facility is smaller and older. Finding a ob-gyn that you trust is hard and so is pregnancy. I hope this helps.

Doctor killin was condescending, and made me feel like I was incompetent about taking care of myself and the decisions I was making for my body. Would not recommend the Levittown location but the massapequa location were amazing and loved them!

His check ups literally take like 10 minutes, tops, and he remembers small details about you (like, I dig tattoos and the mets) to chat about while he's handling business so you're not uncomfortable. They're prompt, helpful, and clean. I found him by chance after my last doctor gave me the heebie jeebies and I literally tell any of my friends that might be looking for a doc to hit this dude up. Haven't had any kids, so I can't comment on that part of what he does, but his 6 month exams are as delightful as any can be when you're pants-less in a sterile chair trying not to throw your cookie out there on display.

He consistently asked if I had any questions, and clearly explained things in understandable terms. His staff was professional although I wasn't greeted right away. The Sonogram/Ultra Sound Tech was just as great as Dr Mesbah. She put me at ease and made me feel very comfortable. Dr Mesbah called me and thoroughly went thru my test results. I had to call back with a question and the receptionist was kind enough to get him back on the phone. Dr Mesbah will definitely continue to be my Doc!

Now, we have our daughter who is seen by the nurse practitioner, Christine for 5 years. In school she go sick and they the school doctor put her on medicine and she did not get better. The office staff is so accommodating that when my daughter was home and returning to the university and explained she needed to be seen before hopping on the plane, they got her in. (1 day later I get a call to see how she is doing and with the results of the test ) and the meds. That she was of from the school was not correct for the strep she had. Thank you Christine and Dr. Mesbah for going the extra mile! When I go into the office I am always greeted with a smile and I know that at Dr. Mesbah's office, it is about the patients and not the money. Here Dr. Mesbah is a sole practitioner and is not part of the healthcare system where if you're sick they might not do anything. Dr. Mesbah takes his time to look at everything and treat you like family. Here you know that when you're going for a test it's because Dr. Mesbah truly knows that you need one and cares about you and your health. Christine, the nurse practitioner, is truly amazing and caring. No question is too silly for her. This is an office that if you truly want the caring nurturing and medical experience they have to offer, this is where your must go and know that you will be getting the best family care. But understand that since it is a doctor's office, you must be willing to pay when you go. There are very few doctors in sole practice today, and if we don't help them stay in practice, by paying when we go, we will force them to close. Then we will be at the mercy of places like prohealth, urgent care, and the hospital emergency rooms, where we just become numbers to them. We must remember that to keep the best doctors from joining the big corporations that they don't have the big money behind them and need to be paid each time we go in. We must keep Dr. Mesbah, he truly is the doctor that puts your care first.
