He asked detailed questions about my medical history. He also explained his diagnosis in detail and made sure I understood before we moved on in the conversation. He also described the different medical approaches and medications that were appropriate and available. He also listened to me carefully and addressed all of my concerns. For example, I strongly value a holistic approach to wellness and he supported me. He explained the necessity for modern medicine during times of illness and gave me guidance on how to maintain good health through holistic and natural techniques after I get better. Dr. Kakani's caring attitude and genuine concern was most touching. I have been seeing Dr Rajesh Kakani for about 9 years now. His is always friendly, courteous and very caring. He knows his business also. I was having problems with both ears and he was able to correct the problem quickly and painlessly. After Super Storm Sandy, my ears were very bad. I was able to get an emergency appointment and using his "vaccuum" he cleared up both ears very quickly and that was the end of the problem. In November 2014 I had a Total Thyroidectomy surgery done by DR Kakani at the Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Center NY. Hands down the most wonderful doctor I have ever been to. He first saw my daughter for her tonsils and after a few visits did surgery to remove them. That was 9 months ago and she hasn't had an issue with her throat since then when we would normally be at the doctors at least 6 times a year. Dr. Kakani recently did a septoplasmy on my son.
