Flo is the hostess with the mostess and her husband is the head chef. We had empanadas to start and despite my hesitation the olive and cheese one was so tasty. Nice and small too. I had a chorizo starter which was also divine. Bread and the best chimichurri of my life are given as accompaniments. Delicious We paired with a beautiful jammy ribera del duero. The main event was a fillet steak cooked to a perfect medium rare for me. My boyfriend had an off menu rib eye on the bone cut. Very intense flavour. The portions are huge. We shared fries and parmagiana tomatoe salad. We couldn't finish them. Dessert was a sweet lanzarote wine and a cognac for himself. No room for more food and he usually has a separate dessert stomach. Nicely paced meal we were there until near closing. This is a place to relax and enjoy some of the best steak of your life!

The service is well above the average, it is excellent. The food was excellent and the venue is just perfect. I really wish we'd found this restaurant at the beginning of our holiday as it is incredible. We were welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine and the waiter was so courteous and well ahead of us. One night I was even in the Bar next door, GeeGee's and they said I could stay there and eat if I liked. Oh,you do? that's lucky because i'm about to say a few words about such a place,well done to you! Being a tourist type of place El Toro Bravo employs people to stand on the street to try to tempt you into their establishment (As do most of the eateries and bars) generally I ignore them because having been visiting the island for 15 years I already know where I want to eat. But the nice lady who does that job for El Toro also happens to drink in the same bar a I do whilst i'm there (Ace of Spades,see review) and she is really friendly too,so when she asked if we would like to eat there it would've been rude not to. I went in there both in 2011 and 12 and had a really nice steak both times (Sirloin with garlic for me and Fillet for Mrs Z) also the sizzling prawns in garlic to start are also stupidly nice too (and I don't like prawns!)
