We have a large, rustic property that has very rough terrain, and we are trying to turn it into our home. We needed to create outdoor living space and correct some significant problems with drainage and elevation. Before we started work with Two Men & A Hoe, we had some ideas of what we wanted to achieve, but we thought everything about our property was either too expensive or impossible. As soon as they started work, they quickly made us realize that nothing was really impossible, and there were many solutions within our budget. From that point onward, they took every idea we had and made it better than what we had even hoped. They solved problems and provided creative ideas to generate options beyond what we thought possible. All the while, they were very mindful of our time and our budget. Since our fist job with them, we have had them out several times as our ideas have grown, and we will probably have them out again for future projects. All was in track - I straightened and cleared my house ready for a fantastic experience. Then a single cleaner arrived over an hour late, then I was told the fee would be increased by $50 because of dog hair (which I agreed to). About 30 minutes into the job, her vacuum quit and that should have clued me into the dependability of this company. The cleaner was pleasant but did a very haphazard job and it was by no means a 'deep' cleaning. The underlying issue was that it was a large house and cleaning was more than a one-person job. This company charged me $310 for less than 5 hours of work ($62/hr) and my house is still not clean! She didn't even bother to wipe down the kitchen bar, island or cabinets! The dining table, a side table and a buffet were not dusted. A portion of the livingroom floor was not mopped. Both downstairs bathrooms had dust and scum issues. When I asked the next day for a partial refund, they offered to send the cleaner out again. It wasn't worth the hassle to me. Save yourself the headache - there are many other service-oriented, capable companies to choose from. Let my pricey lesson serve as an example for you. Go elsewhere.....

I hired them for deep clean (after tenant moved out) and carpet cleaning. The carpet cleaning went great. The clean was not detailed and there were a lot of things I needed to revisit (had to hire another person) which you can see in photos. I messaged them about my concern 2 hours after the clean and didnt hear back, I messaged them again 4 days later and they said they offer a 24 hour guarantee and would make an exception. By that time I had hired someone else to address the cleaning areas they missed. They offered me a $20 refund (10 of the cleaning cost not including carpet). I'm not satisfied with the resolution but they did try to address it even if it was a poor attempt. I will not be using them again, but as a new business I think they may just be working out the kinks.
