This review is way, way overdo. We used Haul Guys for the first time in April of 2025. We were cleaning out the home of a family member who had passed. We had YEARS of stuff in the house. The first time we had Mark and his team come out we got rid of everything except the furniture. Lots of trash and things that just couldn't be used. Not only did they get everything out, but they also cleaned the back patio and garage, sweeping up and getting rid of any debris that was left. The second time we had him come out was March of this year to finish the same house, getting rid of all the furniture. Cleaning out a house is so much work, but finding Mark was amazing and took a tremendous burden off our shoulders. I do not know what we would have done without his help. Hello Google and hello Haul Guys! I had some awful particle board cabinets in garage left over from previous owners. Not insignificant in size not in figuring out how to dispose of inane expedient fashion. Enter Google and a search returned this company. I called them around 11:30am on a Saturday to see if they could do a same day removal and they were very accommodating and fit me into their schedule. Quick and polite communications. The team arrived around 1:45Pm as planned and the particle board cabinets from h*ll were swiftly removed from the premises. In fact they disintegrated as they were being hauled out of the garage, nails and all. The two guys who came over were super polite and nice and I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to a friend. If only all things in life were this easy. I called Monday morning to double-check, they said they had an issue come up BUT they rescheduled for an hour later. Just like clockwork, I got a check-in from the gentleman picking up the trash, saying he was 10 minutes away. Ten minutes later, they were here and picked up everything. I got home from a business trip and went to town on the massively-overgrown trees in our yard, thinking that neighborhood brush pickup was the upcoming week. Well, silly me, I'd missed it already by a week. So here I am with tons of brush and nowhere to put it. I was happy with their quote ($100), so I let them do their thing and cancelled the quote appointments I had with a couple of other companies. 5 minutes later, they were done and cut the cost down to $75 because it was a quick & easy job. I called to set up an appointment (I didn't bother shopping around for estimates, I just wanted the junk removed), and provided my awful recollection about what kind and how much junk I wanted cleared away. I got an estimate based on that, and scheduled the appointment. The guys came over punctually at the scheduled time, and I showed them what to haul away. They gave me a quote based on seeing the stuff (pretty reasonable; I think if I hired a "we charge based on 1/4 of our truck's capacity" company, it would have been more expensive), and I agreed, and they began the work. These guys are very professional first of all. Secondly, Alex's trailer looked like it wasn't going to hold all our junk only because (I think) a previous customer had more items than expected. But in just minutes, Mark shows up in his trailer and they load the rest of our junk. What impressed me most was this was at the end, probably past their closing shift, but they made it happen while maintaining a positive attitude the entire time.
