Really enjoyed this place. The beer is good , it's a great place to hang with friends and family. Theres a large outdoor area where kids can run around ( my 2 year old grandson had fun and room to run). Some folks had their dogs ( on leashes only). The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a food truck there for food ... had very good pizza. It's in a cool location with a great view of the Memphis skyline.... Out of the way brewing company with a large indoor/outdoor footprint. We enjoyed live music on our Saturday afternoon visit! I enjoyed the Li'l Cutie wheat with a citrus vibe. My son enjoyed the pilsner, but felt the jalapeno pils was too spicy for a full pour. Service is good and very nice. Lots of space indoors and even more space outdoors for your kids! Honestly, the beers are ..decent... The Godhopper has a cooler name than taste. Thaddeus is actually tasty with a cigar. However, they make up their beer shortcomings with an excellent outdoor area and great river views. They also have outstanding service. Beware, you may get a whiff or two of water treatment depending how the wind blows. Still, Grind City does well with their place and you get the pleasure of enjoying a beer in a great ambience. For a person who doesn't like beer but enjoys the brewery feel, this is the perfect place in Memphis. With the open space and wealth of options, I appreciate how Grind City allows you to be in your own space but out and about as well. I typically go for the seltzer or non-beer options they have, and they are generally pretty good, if not creative. One time there was a blue sour patch kids seltzer, and it was excellent. Perhaps that's my only complaint: the non-beer options tend to cycle more frequently than the beer, which means it's always a toss-up. I wish there were some staples here (maybe like the sour patch kids one!) so I could always rely on that. Nonetheless, with the open space, good vibe, and overall good flow, I will always join for a visit here with friends. read more

I went to Grind City for the a festival that and it was a pretty good experience! A lot had to move inside because of the weather but it turned out well. There was a lot of room! - I tried the "Delta 8 Seltzer". I'll say this, if you're not a fan of seltzer, this isn't the drink for you. Don't come in here wasting these people good libations. - They have a lot of indoor/outdoor seating there which I see is common with most of the breweries here so let's keep that up. - The staff was real helpful and they came by often to clean and make sure folks were doing alright. - There we're good trucks available and they were easily accessible to the venue. read more

Very cool atmosphere but was less than impressed with my drinks... the only sour they had on tap was not a fruited sour so that was very disappointing. The peach seltzer tasted weird as well - I'm a big fruity sours fan and this place does not cater towards that. Great selection of beers to choose from and okay to bring pets. Came here for a Sushi Class and this brewery is nicely designed! It's a large space on the inside that opens up to a large sitting area outside. I've been a fan of Grind City since they opened. They have a lot of great beers. The views of the Pyramid and Mississippi are unbeatable. The outdoor seating is perfect. The inside is great too. But don't let its location fool ya! Very casual, comfortable place to hang out and chill with your friends. I got the Viva Las Lager Peach (gluten-free, 4.2%) and tried some of the I'm In Love with the Coco hard seltzer (5%), both of which I really liked! The peach beer tasted - well, peachy. But not too sweet! It's good for those who aren't quite a fan of the beer taste. And the hard seltzer tasted refreshing, not fruity at all, simple in taste. Both are great choices! This place is a hidden! Very cool vibe in a friendly and covid safe atmosphere. Very good beer too! Great atmosphere and great views! Grind City has plenty of outdoor space and is owned by Memphians. It's a great addition to this neighborhood. I was visiting to pick up food from a local Vegan vendor. The first thing to actually catch my attention was the art work. Then the mind was blown with the open space and view of the pyramid and of course the M Bridge. I like the fact that you can play bar games like corn hole and bring your pets and kids. I say this locally owned brewery is the best thing "hoping" in Memphis for a game day or an unwind Friday and weekend. read more

As a friend of mine said, "vibes... immaculate " location is kinda sketchy but this place is so so so nice!! Such a big open area, lots of tables & chairs, and an indoor area where you order your drinks. There's volleyball nets & sometimes food trunks come by. Their drinks menu switch out often. The best place to be on any given night it seems. The beer is amazing and they have so many different flavors. The food trucks could be better but they are not bad. The entertainment was great and the staff is awesome. I got to hear so many good diverse songs which we love. I love rock and my friend loves r&b and the band that perform had a great mixed and was amazing. We will definitely be back and hope the band Elevation will be playing.
