This is truly a hidden gem! It's an artsy bar located in Crosstown Concourse on the second floor, through the art gallery. There are so many rooms, so you can have a private moment or share space with a few friends. Their menu is full of unique drinks that are ever-changing. I saw customers working on laptops, enjoying dates, and having drinks with friends. This is truly a versatile, original spot.

I was so excited to try out Art Bar; I had heard such great things about the space, the drinks, and the overall vibe. Unfortunately, I was left just thinking "that was fine" the entire time. We went on a very light evening and were told to sit wherever, assuming someone would help us wherever we sat. That assumption was correct, but the amount of time it took until someone took our order was um, quite long we'll say, and it didn't seem from what we could tell that it was anything out of the ordinary. Did they have some unique drinks? Sure. Were they good? I suppose. Was the space neat? Yes. Was it as "cool" and vibing as I thought? No. Am I glad I went? Sure. Would I go again? Sure, if friends wanted to go. That about sums it up.

Wish I had better things to say about Art Bar. Very cool concept and the decor is great if you can get seating in one of the lounge rooms, but that availability is very limited and I was left feeling "just okay" about the experience. I tried two drinks from their custom cocktail menu and disliked them both. Although the ingredients were creative neither came together for me. Even my friends drink I tried wasn't great. I had to stick with a rum and coke after that. The food was very good but they only have a few snack options so I wouldn't necessarily stop by just for crackers and dip. Service was a bit slow but not bad. Maybe I'll try again sometime but for now it wasn't something I would go out of my way for.

Vibes. I loved the arts of this place. It was a vibe for sure. Super lowkey and the building it's in seems to be a lot of fun. Can't wait to get back here again one day soon!

Super. Dope. Spot!!!! I'm so upset with myself for waiting soo long to visit Crosstown Arts-Art Bar-Green Room. I purchased tickets to see the beautiful and talented, Talibah Safiya, on Sunday and the she was amazing, from start to finish..!! Anyway, my fist experience of the Art Bar was lovely. Very eclectic space, colorful and well designed. The bar was cute, seats about 8+ a few small booths. I ordered the Humdinger...ummm, yeah...it tasted like lemon water so I had the bartender doctor it up. Either the drink was trash or the waiter. My 2nd drink, the Sazerac was pretty decent. I ordered the humus which was a little pricy, but yummy nonetheless. Antique and eclectic glassware. Sorry no drink and food pics.

This is a great restaurant for crafty cocktails, diverse crowd , and tasty apps . The service was top tier - friendly and pretty fast . The bar is embedded inside of Concourse Crosstown . We had a couple of rounds of drinks and the tuna dip. The bartender made a special cocktail for Saint Patrick day as well .

Nice atmosphere. The worst drink I've ever ordered, hands down. It took 20 minutes waiting in line to get my drink.

Came to art bar on a very busy night. The aesthetic is very nice, but the service was extremely slow. We grabbed a table that hadn't been cleaned, didn't have any other options so that was that. On to the drinks. I ordered the luscious green and it was the worse drink I've ever had. On the menu, I thought it would be a pretty good drink, but I was wrong. It tasted like medicine & the cream on top had a weird marshmallow consistency not to mention, the drink looks like a mixture of other leftover drinks. We waited forever to get the drinks on top of that. The waitress finally came back to check on us and I told her the drink wasn't good and she actually said it wasn't her favorite either, so she recommended a lemon drop for me, which is usually my go to anyway. So I get the lemon drop martini and it's like two sips worth of a drink lol but whatever. We'll prob go back as the menu seems to change. Just wasn't the best experience.

Neat little space with great drinks. Good for a quick date or meet up. Staff was really nice and attentive. Love the decor style. Mid-century vibe with a bunch of vintage finds even down to the glasses.

Best bar in Memphis!!! The music vibes decor glassware and ambiance is one of a kind. Most of all service is incredible. You will be well taken care of here

This is the funkiest, coolest space and I am here for it. The drinks are great! Delicious and strong craft cocktails. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and explaining what the drinks are. They also have great "plain Jane" drinks too! (my friend got a Moscow Mule and it was to die for!) This spot is great for a date or just chilling with friends. All of the different sections and areas offer a unique feel with the turn of every corner. My personal favorite was the old school record player with multiple records you can actually play! To find the bar follow the signs to Crosstown Arts and go up the giant red staircase to the second floor. Stop in for a drink... you won't be disappointed!

WOW!! I am totally BLOWN AWAY! Go to 2nd floor to the art bar. Deedee and Eric are mixologists from outta this world. These drinks are so unique! Then BE SURE to continue past the bar to check out the amazingly decorated and fun/funky "so midtown" space.

Went to Non-Vintage for the first time to see Edie Bake Oven and her beautiful ladies perform. If I…read morecould give a review for Edie alone, it would be 5 stars. She carried this review up to the 3 I'm giving Non-Vintage. First of all, there was a severe deficiency of seating and staff for this event. No one greeted us when we entered, we moved chairs ourselves to make an accommodating space out of the way of the performers, and at no point did a member of staff take our order outside of waiting at the bar. The line for the bar was right in the way of the performers, and many people were forced to wait 10+ minutes for a drink order because there was only one bartender working. Another staff member had offered to help, and the bartender DECLINED, forcing us to continue to wait. I did try the wings and the charcuterie, they were good. I tried the nonalcoholic hibiscus drink and the nonalcoholic summer cooler drink. The summer cooler was much better in my opinion, but both were good nonalcoholic options. I think I would like to try this place when they are not hosting an event, I'm sure it's lovely when they are staffed appropriately for the shift. However, I was sorely disappointed tonight being forced to wait nearly an hour at the bar, missing parts of the show and on my feet for just a drink.

Porch and Parlor is the best steak experience in Memphis. The interior is warmly lit and rather…read moredark lending itself to a more intimate atmosphere, but they also have ample outdoor seating right on Overton Square. A prime location for a prime steakhouse. The service was strong as was the pacing. I found the server a bit too eager to explain the restaurant and the menu. I'm a ribeye eater so I had a pretty good idea I was getting a ribeye before I went in. I think the talking is used as a way to upsell and push guests towards opaquely priced off-menu "specials" which from my understanding are always on offer (such as their deviled eggs and bone marrow sauce). We started with the beef tartare and duck ravioli. I preferred the tartare, which had a nice spicy seasoning throughout. The duck ravioli had an excellent sauce on it, too. For our mains, I got the prime boneless ribeye ($68) and my brother got the prime strip ($56). We also shared the Yume A5 Wagyu experience ($225), letting us try three different cuts of Wagyu side by side. For sides (about $15/each), we did the fontina potatoes, truffle honey tots, and carrots. We also added the gulf prawns ($21), foie gras ($14), and bone marrow sauce (~$20) which was prepared table side and was plenty to share. It was very rich and peppery, though a bit of a salt bomb. For dessert, we shared the French toast bread pudding with maple butter ($14) which is one of my favorite bread puddings I've tried. They also brought my brother a dessert since it was his birthday, it was something like a raspberry mousse with coconut foam and a sharp raspberry sauce. Excellent. The Yume experience was a big motivation in coming here, as getting to try cuts of A5 Wagyu next to cuts of regular (albeit prime) beef is unique in the Memphis area and really for hours around. It was priced as an experience rather than a food item. It did not disappoint, nor did the prime steaks. The A5 is so unbelievably tender by comparison. My favorite was the ribeye, but I'm biased. My brother, normally a strip guy, agreed with me there. The potato sides were underwhelming, particularly for the price. I don't know how I let my brother talk me into buying him $15 tater tots for his birthday. I could get the carrots again, though. My total was $800 for the two of us for the above food, six cocktails, and tax and tip. A big chunk of that was the Yume experience as well as the drinks (we were celebrating!). If we were to go back, it would be closer to $350 for the two of us, and I would go for the prime ribeye with foie gras again, no need for Wagyu or sauce. I enjoy the sister restaurants in this restaurant group (Coastal Fish, Flight, Southern Social) and frankly I'd bet Porch is the cash cow of the group due to the relatively poor value proposition. We had a great experience exploring the finest steak and accompaniments one could wish for. But, for my money, Coastal does a pretty good steak too.

The actual restaurant is beautiful and the moody lighting and colorful decor was cool and hip. Do kids still say hip? Whatever, it was hip.
