RHG was one of the positive experiences I had and I love my countertops...until recently. I noticed a stain that had showed up after some time. I spoke with RHG and they agreed it was something that occurred in prep process. They were willing to work with me and have my countertops removed and fixed. After a lengthy repair process, they returned the countertops with the stain almost gone, however a larger stain in a different area next to a noticeable crack were now there. I asked numerous times to gain a better understanding about the crack and why no one mentioned it before they reinstalled it and why I had to bring it up to them. Overall, RHG made several attempts to help me, but we couldn't get on the same page at the end. I am super frustrated with my island countertop and left feeling uneasy about the quality and integrity of my countertops overall.

First, they didn't put any back splash in the bathroom and will not take responsibility for a poor job in communication or execution, nor will they go back to add it because it is "too small" of a job. Second, there is a big crack between the wall and granite in kitchen and they said too much time has passed and won't come back to fix it. Went to store to speak to her in person and heard her telling the customers she was with that we have been a challenge. Completely unacceptable! DO NOT USE THEM.

The lady I talked to on the phone was great in communicating the work planning and kept us all updated. Covid has made estimating a project clunky. We did a video estimate. The cost turned out to be quite fair, but I was concerned about the cost before starting. After watching all the work done, I was happy. An in person estimate is really superior, if the job is not really simple, so an explanation can be given for all the labor time it will take to execute the plan. Cascade Custom Construction WARNING!!!!!…read more You might as well take the hard earned money out of your wallet and light it on fire if you plan to hire Cascade Custom Construction. At least that way you might stay warmer than any structure Brent would build for you. He built half of a structure for me and then walked off the job with an extra $150,000 in his pocket. Brent just disappeared from the job and called me later to say he messed up on the budget and overspent by $40,000 so he left to figure it out but never came back! I had to spend 2 years in court to finally get a resolution. Brent will take you for every cent and will not deliver on any building. He was drinking on the job daily as well as his guys. He co-mingled funds from several projects and could not deliver receipts to show where the money was going. I have the facts and proof to show this is the case with him, as well as the law suit ending in my favor. The structure that he did complete was not to code and not to plan!!! I spend more money on a new contractor to fix all the code violations than Brent's initial bid for the Barndominuim. Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from Cascade Custom Construction and Brent DeArmond!!!!!! This is how Brent treats a disabled veteran when building his retirement home.

Wow, where to start? Made a down payment in spring 2025 with a promise that they would complete by…read moreearly summer (2025!). Well about a year went by and they finally started. Horrid communication by the contractor within his org and with me. People showed up that didn't know or have the skills for the job. The contractor didn't know of any of the verbal agreements I had with his sales people. (He substituted an inferior siding for what I wanted and had agreed to. Didn't even ask me or talk about additional cost - he just decided!) They completed the work this spring and I made the final payment within a week of final inspection. I thought I was done with these folks and very happy to part ways. Well I received a notice from Builders First Source (BFS), Intent to File Lien, on my property because they didn't get paid for materials they delivered. I called the owner, Brent, and thought I had an agreement that he would pay BFS within a week. That was two weeks ago. The painter threatened to sue and I found out that CCC hadn't paid the concrete sub either. I'm hiring a lawyer to get advice on how to proceed. There are more transgressions on the part of CCC then room to list here. Work with these folks at your own risk!
